I spent the whole of Saturday morning helping Kendra pack for the trip and I thank God that I did because she had 2 suitcases packed before I came to the rescue!!

"You don't understand Zinc. I like being comfortable when I'm away from home and that's why I pack a lot of things."

"Its only for 3 days literally 72 hours, you can rough it up for that period of time. Besides, who do you expect to carry these heavy suitcases?"

"Ethan of course! And by the way I hate roughing it up so just let me be."

"No Kendra. Look, how about one suitcase and a duffel bag that's better."

"Ugh! Fine but if you get hurt and die from excessive bleeding...blame yourself" she said as she proceeded to stuff her clothes back into her wardrobe.

"I doubt that will happen, so are you excited?"

"Yes. Its just sad we won't be roommates that means more socializing."

I totally forgot about this pairing thing. How I pity the guy who'll end up being my roomie because I won't even say one word to him.

"I hope I end up with Ethan at least someone I know." I said.

"Yeah that would be great. But what about Jayden mmmh he seems fun" she said and winked.

"Uuh nooo. He gives me the creeps Ethan is wayy better"

"Too bad you are not the one to choose besides the school will send us an email at 4 with the names of our partners." She said.

"Yeah let's wait for that. So what do we do now?" I asked

"I don't know we could watch a movie if you want. Are you in to animations?"

"Of course I am." I responded excitedly

"Great wanna watch sing?" She asked while posing like a ballerina.

"Yeah sure."

"Ok you can go downstairs I'll be their in a minute."

"Cool."

Kendra's living room is huge and has large windows which let in a lot of sunshine giving the room a warm welcoming feeling. She came down and went to make popcorn.

"Two bags don't you think that's more than enough for two people?" I asked

"Yeah. But that's the thing it's not just us I invited some people I know."

"Kendra you've only been here for like 2 days, who do you know?"

"Hahaha very funny Zinc. I know Ethan and he's coming."

I hope he's coming alone because I don't want to deal with Jayden now.

"Ooh ok."

"Yeah ok." She said with a mischievous smirk on her lips.

Once the popcorn was ready, she put them in two bowls.

What are you doing Kendra. I narrowed my eyes as I looked at her but she just smirked.

She then switched on their 62 inch television and typed in Sing. Just when the animation started, we heard the door bell. Kendra let out a small squeal as she went to welcome her "friends".

I sat down on one of the loveseats with one of the bowls of popcorn which I assumed I would be sharing with Kendra and waited for her to come back so that she could play the animation.
