Judging from how they look I bet they're still tasty.

The walk to school was shorter than usual. Maybe because my head was spinning with the thought of every possible thing that Jayden could do to me during the trip. Will he...dye my hair while I sleep, or worse, smother me with his pillow till I die, or worst, he could be a sleep walker and kill me in his sleep. For someone who was really excited for this trip, I wasn't feeling it anymore. I really wish I could share a room with Kendra, now that would be fun. I opened the school door with much hesitation. The halls were filled with my bickering classmates. You could feel the excitement in the air. I let out a deep sigh as I slowly walked towards my locker.
"Hey, what's up with your phone? I've been texting you none stop." Jayden shouted as he walked towards me.
Aaargh can this guy leave me alone.

I took out my phone from my back pocket only to find about 20 messages.

"Are these all from you?" I asked pointing my screen at his face.

He nodded with a weak smile plastered on his face

"So since we are roomies I'd like to know some things about you.

Do you have trouble sleeping or are you a fast drifter?

Which side of the room would you like to sleep in? Left or right?

So since you are not replying I guess you are on your way.

I'm so excited, I'm scared I won't be able to sleep.

I heard pillow fights make you sleepy.

So would you pillow fight with me to ware me off?

Do you believe in the Devil's hour? Cause I don't.

Do you get night terrors or night mares?

Look. I still have a lot of questions I'll ask you when I see you.

I'm so excited!!!

Bye soon to be roomie! " I read out loud as I tried to force back the smile that was growing on my face.

" You'll know soon enough Jayden." I said while rolling my eyes. He just shrugged and walked away.  Once I was sure he was far enough, I let out that smile that I was trying so hard to hold back.

Why was he that curious? Or am I really that mysterious.

Bye baby, hope you have fun.

Love mum.

The text from my mum brought me back from my thoughts. I let out a deep sigh and responded "I love you too"

"Hey you." Kendra greeted as she hugged me.
"Why are you acting like I haven't just left your house?" I asked as I tried to free myself from her grip.
She just shrugged. I waved at Ethan who couldn't wave back because she was carrying Kendra's suitcase and her duffel bag and I assume she was carrying his duffel bag I smiled at them and they both smiled back. We joined the crowd of geography students in the parking lot. I stretched my neck trying to look for Jayden but my efforts were futile. Where is this guy? Whatever, he'll find me.

Mr. Grings started giving us instructions and the do's and dont's during the trip. I was still searching desperately for Jayden but I still couldn't see him until I felt someone softly brushing my left hand. I flinched and quickly turned to see who it was. I was met with green eyes with  golden orbs. He had a bright smile that reached his eyes and I couldn't stop myself from smiling back.

"Where did you go? It's like you just disappeared." I whispered.

"Awww I didn't know you cared about me like that." He said with a mischievous grin on his face.

Before I could respond, people were making their way into the bus. So much for Mr. Grings speech. I can honestly say I heard nothing thanks to Jayden. We got into the bus and sat opposite Kristen and Kendra. When Kendra saw me with Jayden, she winked and gave me a mischievous smirk and I rolled my eyes. I sat next to the window and Jayden the isle.

Synder way wasn't that far away from our town it was just a four hour drive. I looked out the window as I imagined that man we always see running over the trees and jumping roofs for about an hour and when I got tired I turned to strike a conversation with my so called roomie only too see him sleeping.

He looked so peaceful in his sleep. His long lashes caressed his cheeks and his brown hair brushing his forehead. He also had a cute dimple on his chin which I was so tempted to feel. His chest was rising and falling steadily and I could see the sweat dripping from his neck to God knows where under his shirt. Damn! He truly was a sight too look at. When the bus hit a bump his head landed  on my shoulders. I immediately relaxed after getting used to his weight on my shoulder.

But I wasn't going to let pretty boy have his good night sleep here, so I jerked forward leaving Jayden to fall on my back. He woke up in shock with his eyes dilated and I laughed at the expression on his face. He looked around trying to figure out where he was and after gaining familiarity he elbowed me lightly.

"Hey what was that for."

"Who told you not to sleep at night." I said while chuckling.

He smiled at me and asked, "May I please sleep on your lap?"

"No. You want to put all that weight on me?"

"I'm not heavy, I'm muscular! You wouldn't even realize."

"Beg bitch! You can't get everything that easy."

"Ugh! Fine. Zinc, may I pretty please sleep on your lap I won't hurt you." He said then pouted.

That pout reminded me of the first time I saw him in Ginleys I suddenly felt a tinge of guilt for being so rude to him.

"Ok you can sleep on my lap."

"Yipee finally."  He said smiling.

He then adjusted his sitting position and used his hands as a pillow as he rested his head on my lap, his face towards the sit in front of us. I closed the window to stop the wind from blowing on his face. I noticed how smooth his skin was and I could see three beauty spots on his ear lobe. I then looked at his brown silky hair. It looked so soft and smooth. I tried so hard to stop myself from touching it but it felt like it was just begging for me to feel it,and just like that I started playing with his hair twirling the locks on my fingers. I saw a light smile playing on Jayden's face and my stomach immediately jumped. I smiled too and continued playing with Jayden's hair as I absent mindedly looked out the window.

Maybe Jayden wasn't that bad after all.
