"Connected Hearts"

Truth is out

I set the machine up, while Trollex was. Resting his head on the platform I made. I turned it on, and I put the ear bud on. I was getting a message from the telegraph, I documented what it was saying. When it went disconnected on me, I read what the message said, "Faith, wherever you are, do not come back! I repeat, do not come back! There's been a terrorist attack, and they're looking for you! Please remain where you are, and-" I knew in the instant that, I wasn't going back home, and I respected the message.

I turned the machine off, and carefully place them in the compartment. Sealed it shut, too.

Trollex's POV

I never knew what the message was, but I knew something happened to her world. We went to the cruise ship, and she placed the compartment back where I found it. The next thing I knew, we were heading home. She place her bag down, and looked out the booth. I can tell that she's suffering low self-esteem, and depression. I then did the one thing I normally wouldn't do, but I knew she needed it.

I wrapped her in a hug, from behind. She didn't resist, nor did she rejected it. She leaned back, and with her eyes closed, lightly smiled. She then began to hum. The next thing she did is sing in another language.

I sang the song of wind to show how well my voice can be used as a shield, more then a weapon. I opened my eyes, and I looked at Trollex. He was impressed, I knew from his eyes, and his smile. He let go and asked, "What is that?!" He pointed the water barrier around his kingdom(made by a strong current that circles around). I answered, "That's the song of wind, protecting the kingdom, like a barrier. I sang that song because I know that soon, we'll meet a threat who wants to destroy music."

Trollex seemed skeptical at first, but then nod in understanding. I smiled, knowing that my songs of spirits will do their best to protect this kingdom.
