It was the night of October 31st, that changed Vitani Potter's life forever. She was never the favorite in her family, her brother was. After all her parents were only expecting a baby boy, not a baby boy and girl. Her brother's name was Harry James Potter, and be was destined to be the boy who would defeat the dark lord Voldemort.

Lily and James Potter were out on a date while there friend Peter Pettigrew would watch over there children. If only they knew that their friend was actually a follower of the man they were hiding from, Voldemort. A knock at the door alerted Pettigrew that his lord was here. "C-come in m-my lord...Th-the Po-Potter's have al-aleady left hours a-ago..." Pettigrew stuttered out trembling in fear. Voldemort rolled his eyes at the cowardly rat, walking up the stairs to the nursery where he found two cribs. One crib had a baby boy in it the boy looked like a carbon copy of his father aside from his full green eyes that looked like his mother's. The boy's name was Harry Potter, Voldemort looked at the child with a smirk "They think YOU are the one that is meant to be my end? HA! PATHETIC! You have the amount of power that a less than average wizard could have. No it isn't you" he finished with an evil smirk, before turning to the next crib. He was shocked to see a girl with bright icy blue eyes staring up at him not a trace if fear within them. The girl had surprisingly pure white hair with a blue fade that was obviously not fake. The young girls name was Vitani. Voldemort chuckled making Pettigrew who was behind him shiver. "Vitani, name meaning demon of war. Yes I see your power it's undeniably powerful. You are the one who shall be my end...well not anymore...as I shall kill you, with a heavy heart might I add." Voldemort said with a hint of sorrow. It was true he thought of magical children as a gift from lady magic gifting young children with magic the future if the wizarding world. So when he says he didn't want to kill the young girl he was telling the truth but he couldn't die he had to make changes in the wizarding world. So here he was about to say the killing curse. Voldemort looked into Vitani's eyes one last time to see her smile looking back at him with what look like understanding, he thought he was just seeing things, before she closed her eyes and put her arms by her side. "Avada Kedavera" he whisperd, and a bright green light shot out if his wand and hit the girl in her eye before a light blue light surrounded her and the curse bounced back hitting Voldemort square in the chest before he let out an agonizing scream and disappeared leaving his jet black cloak on the floor. Pettigrew's eyes widen in shock before he ran away out of the house unseen by all. When James and Lily were walking back they saw the dark mark a top there house and Lily let out a shriek if terror before running inside the house.

Inside Gordricks hollow
Lily rushed up to the nursery only to see her son wailing on his back with a bleeding cut on his cheek. She yelped and ran over to her baby boy, picking him up and comforting him. James ran in and his stomach dropped when he saw the state of the nursery. He looked to see Lily holding his son and went up to his daughters crib, to see her sitting there contently looking up at her father, her pure white hair covering her right eye. They decided they needed to call Dumbledore. When Dumbledore arrived he looked at the V-shaped scar on Harry's cheek he then turned to the couple not sparing a glance at Vitani and said "Young Harry here is the chosen one! He's the Boy-who-lived!" Lily looked shocked while James looked estatic. Ever since that day Lily and James coddled and doted on Harry every way they could, forgetting about there other child.
