Dev was sitting in his office when he remembers the time when he left Delhi.
Flahsback

After having that serious fight with Sona,, and leaving his house , Dev was driving without any destination, and was crying his heart out, when he received a call from Raina, he cursed before picking it,,  Raina spoke" well done , Mr Dixit,, Kya humiliate Kiya uss Sonakshi ko, tumne to khush kr Diya mujhe Mann to krta hai tumhe, koi inaam dedu" Dev shouted" just shut the fuck up,, shut up u.. Maine wahi kiya Jo tumne kaha, Kal aa jauga , m waha,,. Aaj plz call mat krna ,, kyuki abhi Mera mann nhi hai koyi bhi baat krne ka,,plz. " Raina smirked and said" o why not ,,have ur time,, or Kal nhi ,, Kal mujhe zroori kaam hai ,, koi hisaab poora krna hai,to tum Monday ko aana ,,hum ussi din new York chle jayenge. " Dev just hummed and cut the call. He stopped his car near beach. And sat there on sand. And shouted" sonnnaaaa" .
He cried and cried. When Kartik came there ,, And placed his hand on his shoulder,when dev saw him ,he hugged him tightly,, and cried ,,kartik consoled him , dev then stopped crying and looked at him and said" kartik tu yaha kaise Aya, tujhe pta hai Kya hua aaj" kartik was also angry and. Said in a monotone" hm,, Ria ne bataya Kya hua Ghar pe,, Dev Mai smjh sakta Hun ,,k tune ab Tak boht Saha hai,, lekin iska Matlab yeh nhi hai k tu uske liye, Sona ko blame kre,, arey yaar mai to hairaan hu,, k agar tune usse blame krte huye socha nhi to ab kyu ro Raha hai, haan mai maan ta hu kahin na kahin Sona ka bhi kasoor..." Dev cut him between " nhi yaar aisa mat bol ,,koi kasoor nhi tha,, Meri Sona ka ,,bhagwaan bhi yeh. Kahe to to Mai kabhi nhi manuga k hmaari story mein kisi bhi galat kaam ke liye Sona responsible hai,yaar never " he said and turned around.
Kartik was shocked to hear this" What the hell, agar tu ye soch bhi nhi sakta to ye Jo tune Ghar pe Kiya vo Kya tha,,haan Dev itna kuch bola tune, and now ur saying u can't even think like that,, Mai to khud hairaan tha,,jab Riya ne bataya mujhe k tune vo sab bola,, mujhe pata hai tu usse itna pyaar krta hai k khud to bolna dur ki baat hai,, tu kisi or ko bhi bolne na de,, bol Dev Kya chupa Raha hai tu,, kyu Kiya vo sab ,,bta yaar ,, kyuki Mai tum dono ko hi problem mein nhi dekh sakta. " Then dev turn around and told him everything about Raina's blackmailing. And about his child. Kartik was shocked to hear this and said " ye Jatin ki koi behen bhi hai,, yeh hmaari life see Chala kyu nhi jata,, Mann to krta hai poori Roy family ko udda du ,,pehle Bhai,, fir behen,, or baad me uska baap bhi aa jayega,, yeh saari family Kya
Tumse tumahri khushi cheen ne aayi hai Kya,, yaar tu yahin ruk Mai uss Raina ki abhi akal thikaane lagata hu" he was going when dev stopped him and said" tujhe Kya lagata hai,, mai kuch nhi kr skta Kyaa,, Mai chup sirf is liye hu,, kyuki Mera beta uske pass hai , Varna do minutes lge uski akal thikaane lgane mein" kartik said " but yaar Mana tera beta uska pass hai ,lekin vo bacha to Sona ka bhi hai,, ek ko paane ke liye dusre ko Marne ke liye chod do, yeh kahan ka insaaf hai yaar ,tujhe pata hai Tere jaane ke baad Sona room see bahr nhi aayi hai" Dev's heart stopped for a second and said" yaar plz Mai usse Teri responsibility pr chod ke ja Raha hu,, uska dhyaan rakhna" kartik said " just shut up ok,, yeh filmi dialogue mat bol mere saamne ,, Mai rakhu uska dhyaan, Shaadi tune ki ya Maine,,ek baar pehle bhi tum dono alag huye thy,, tab Sona ke pass choice nhi thi,, usko think krne ka chance nhi mila,, lekin Tere pass hai,,or tujhe tum teeno ke liye sochna hai" he said angrily.
Dev said" main hmare Bache ko lekar koi chance nhi le sakta,yr" . Kartik said" acha to Sona ki health ke Sath chance le skta hai,, yaad hai na doctor ne Kya bola tha,, uske liye koi bhi shock dangerous hai,,or agar Meri behen ko kuch hua,, to Mai Teri jaan  le luga Dev Dixit. Tere Bache ki chinta mujhe bhi hai,,lekin iska ye Matlab nhi hai k Sona ko Marne ke liye chod diya Jaye,yaar" Dev said" pr Mai or kuch nhi kr skta,,tu hi bta or Kya kru , mujhe us Raina ki baat maan ni pdegi. Iske ilawa  Mai Kya kru" Kartik thought and said" yaar kuch aisa krna hoga,,k saanp bhi mar jaaye or laathi bhi na toote,,Matlab Raina ki condition bhi poori ho,,or tum dono alag bhi na ho" Dev said" aise kaise ho sakta hai?" And huffed.
Kartik said" Sona ko bhi Bata de is sab ke baare mein,, tum dono saath raho lekin Raina ko dikhao k tum dono alag ho,, or tab tk hum us Raina ka koi solution dhoond lenge." Dev said" but yr Sona is time,,, emotionally week hai,, doctor ne yahi bola tha,, or is news se usse koi problem hogyi to" kartik said" yaar tu ek baar bol k to dekh,, Jo hoga hum saath mein face krenge,, or mujhe nhi lagta kuch hoga" Dev said" lekin yaar we have to be very much alert,,vo Raina boht chalaak hai, uska bhi dhyaan rakhna hoga" Kartik said" use dekh lenge,,tension mat le tu,, pehle chal Sona ko batatee Hain" they were about to go, when Dev stopped him and said" tu aisa KR Sona ko Ghar ke piche vaale garden me lekar aaja,, vahan baat krenge, Ghar pe nhi bataenge,, baat hum teeno mein rahegi,, ok" .
After sometime,, kartik somehow managed to bring Sona there,,when Sona saw him she started crying,, Dev felt like someone is stabbing him,,he immediately engulfed her in hug ,,and cried,, they were crying when Sona remember his words and pulled away and was going back but he holds his hand and kartik also told her to listen to Dev once . She stood there when dev told her about everything. She enraged hearing it and said" to ab bhi kyu batane aaye Dev,,jab mujhe chodne ka decision le liya tha,, to ab kyu aaye vaapis,, haan ,,how dare u dev hum dono ki life ke itne important person ke baare mein mujhse puche Bina decision lena,,,or tum mujhe chod kr ja rahe thy,, really dev,,how dare u?" And she cried miserably, Dev stood there looking at her, and said" main aisa nhi krna chahta tha,, lekin mere pass koi option hi nhi tha,,,Mai darr gya tha,,Sona,, lekin ab mujhe smjh aagya hai,, Mai tumhare Bina kuch nhi kr sakta,, plz Meri help kro,,Mai Sach me pagal tha,,jisne soch liya mai sahi kr Raha hu,,lekin mujhe smjh aagya hai,, Mai galat tha,,lekin plz Sona sambhaalo khud ko,,Meri help kro plz" Sona hugged him tightly,, and cried" tumne boht Dara Diya aaj Dev, Sach mein,,lekin ab hum dono saath,Hain or mil k apne Bache ko guard krenge,,or us Raina ko sabak sikhayenge,, hum saath Hain to sab possible hai Dev" they smiled when Dev kissed her forehead and joined them,and were lost in each other when Kartik cleared his throat, and said" Mai bhi hu yaha pe ,,or tum logo ka milaap khatam hogya ho,,
To kuch plan kre ,, ya yahin khde rehna poori raat and they three laughed when Kartik said" tum dono ko alag nhi hone dunga,, pehle dono ko suffer krte dekha hai,, ab or nhi" dev hugged him tightly.and said" thanku yaar,, aaj tu nhi hota to Maine to kr diya, tha paap,, thanku Soo much" kartik smiled" acha to ab dosto ko thanks bolega,,dev k Bache" and they laughed .
They were sitting together there and said" to ab yeh plan hai k Dev tu uske pass jayega or jaisa vo kahegi,, krega,,ok, or apne Bache ka dhyaan rakhna,, or usse chhupa kr tu hmaare saath touch me rahega,, or Sona yaha rahegi,, ok,,tab tk dev hum dono try krte rahenge usse peecha chudane ki"
Dev said " yaar I think uske father see Hume help mil sakti hai,, suna hai acha insaan hai vo" kartik hummed at this and the trio then bid bye to each other.
Here Raina reached at her father's place ,,her father saw her and said" aaj tumhare face pe alag hi Khushi dikh rahi hai beta,, I hope kuch acha kaam hi Kiya hoga" Raina said with a proud smile"  haan dad,, boht acha kaam Kiya hai Maine,, apne bhai Jatin ki death ka badla liya hai,, alag kr Diya Maine us dev or sonakshi ko,ab vo dev mere pass rahega Mera servant bnke" she was laughing when a hard slap fell on her cheeks making them red, she looked up to see her father standing there with tears of anger and hurt" Maine Mana Kiya tha,,beta ye badla kuch nhi hai kuch haasil nhi hoga tumhe fir bhi tum ye sab,,boht regret hoga tumhe beta boht" . Raina said" mujhe lga that aap boht khush honge,,lekin aap to pta nhi kiss mitti se bne hai,,aapko pta hai unhone aapke bete ka murder Kiya fir bhi chup rahe,,or Mai badla lekar aayi to mujhe thappad maar diya" He said" bete ka murder kyu hua tum bhi jaanti ho,Mai bhi,,, usne kaam hi aisaa kiya tha,,, lekin tum khud death ko invitation de rahi ho,, or Mai kuch nhi kr sakta rone ke ilawa,, acha hoga tum chli jao yaha see,, kyuki tum to rukne vaali ho nhi,,fir bhi beta soch lo" but Raina left from there. He fell on the sofa.and cried.
