Vixen stood by the door, waiting for Leaf and Lilac. Lilac. What would he say to her? He didn't have time to figure out what to say because Lilac and Leaf came walking around the corner.

"Ready?" Leaf asked. Vixen shrugged.

"Ready as I'll ever be." He said.

"I have a question." Lilac said.

"Not surprising." Leaf muttered. Lilac glared at him.

"Are we walking all the way there?" She asked. Vixen grinned.

"Nope," he held up a key ring. "We get to take the golf cart."

"We have a golf cart?" Lilac asked doubtfully.

"We do now," Leaf answered. "We found it in the basement here at the Big House." Lilac nodded.

"Well then, what are we waiting for? Let's go for a ride!" She exclaimed. They all laughed as they walked out the door to where the golf cart was parked. Leaf took the driver side and Vixen on the passenger side while Lilac sat on the back with the supplies. Lilac twisted around to look at the boys sitting in front of her.

"This is not how I thought my summer was going to be." She laughed.

Leaf and Vixen laughed along.

"Sorry, princess," chuckled Vixen.

Lilac rolled her eyes and turned back around.

Leaf and Vixen looked at each other. Leaf gives him a confused look and he just shrugs.

Leaf starts the engine, pulls away and starts onto the path leading to the mountains. Lilac looked back at the ever shrinking Safe Zone and sighed.

How long will it be until we come back? She wondered, slightly waving to the house in the distance.

Kitty sat at the window, watching the golf cart drive away. Once it had faded from sight she turned back to the infirmary. Venus had told her to stay there, but Kitty had never been very good at listening. She stood up, wincing a little bit as her shoulder pain flared. Kitty hadn't left the infirmary since she had arrived. She needed to explore.

Kitty walked to the door and slipped out into the hallway. Moving silently, she made her way down the hall and up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was a hallway with doors lining each wall. She studied each door. Kitty noticed that they were all unlocked. All except one. She went to the locked door and studied the lock. It was a simple lock-and-key lock. She pulled a pin from her pocket and quickly picked the lock, then slipped into the room. It was a fairly plain room, with shelves lining the walls and a closet on the far end. Kitty glanced up and saw a trap door on the ceiling. She grinned. This is going to be fun, she thought. Kitty climbed onto one of the shelves and pulled down the door. A set of stairs unfolded from the trapdoor. Kitty scrambled up the stairs and found herself... outside? No, not outside. She was on a rooftop balcony. She could see the entire camp from up here. After a moment of searching, she spotted the golf cart whizzing through the woods. As she watched, the golf cart went over a bump and Lilac fell off the back. Kitty laughed. Lilac picked herself up off the ground and sat back down. The golf cart took off again. Behind her, she heard the stairs creak. She whirled around. Standing at the top of the stairs was Wolf.

"Hi," He said nervously. "I see you've discovered my secret spot."

"You come up here a lot?" Kitty asked. Wolf nodded.

"The fresh air helps me think."

"Oh." They stood in awkward silence for a few moments.

"Nice view, isn't it?" He crossed the balcony to come stand next to her.

"Yeah."

The boys couldn't stop laughing.

"Oh come on, shut up!" Yelled Lilac, reddening with every second.

"Sorry, I just can't believe that you actually survived the apocalypse." Leaf apologized. Lilac gave him a bitter look.

"What do you mean?"

"Well you just fell off the golf cart. And you don't seem to have any skills whatsoever." Leaf pointed out.

Lilac burned with rage. Everyone always treated her like this and she was tired of it.

"Pull over," She spat.

Leaf and Vixen stared confused.

"Pull. Over," she stated again glaring at them. Leaf slowed down and pulled over. Lilac stood up and shoved Leaf out of the driver's seat. From the glasses holder she pulled out a pair of sunglasses.

"Buckle up ladies," grinned Lilac and she shoved her foot on the gas pedal sending the vehicle flying down the path.

Leaf whimpered for forgiveness while Vixen let out a blood curdling scream.

Lilac laughed out loud in joy and pushed even harder on the gas pedal.

"Hold on ladies!!" She laughed.

"Where did you learn to drive like this?!" Screamed Vixen, clinging to the edge of the vehicle.

"Mario Kart!" Yelled Lilac matter of factly. Vixen laughed.

"I'm gonna dieeeee!" Leaf exclaimed.

Venus went running down the hallway and pushed open the grand doors leading to the war room. A great big thud echoed through the large room.

"Sorry, I'm late." She announced.

Dynamite waved her over to a war tactic table.

General Chipmunk was standing next to her.

"What will be our next move?" He asked looking at the table.

Dynamite walks over and places a figurine on a mountain.

"This is where our supply group is going to get supplies." Then she pointed to the densest part of the woods.

"This is where The Dead Queen is."

Then she looked at both of them.

"When the team getting the supplies comes back we make our next move toward the Queen."

Then Canada comes from running in and slides on the table knocking off the figurines.

"Look we won!" He pointed at the now empty board.

Dynamite, Chippy and Venus all laughed.

"Go to sleep, Canada." Chippy laughed pushing Canada out the door.

Then after a moment of silence the group heard a cry.

"No! Not again! I TOLD YOU I'M NOT OLD ENOUGH FOR A RELATIONSHIP!"

Then you could hear running down the hall.

They laughed, and went back to the meeting.

Chi ran through the woods, doing his best to be as silent as possible. He heard voices approaching behind him.

"Find him, but don't kill him. He's mine," Chi recognized the voice as The Dead Queen's newest general, General Blue Jay. Jay's orders were to kill Chi, but he would have to catch him first. Chi took off into a run. He just needed to make it to Fort Payne. Chippy would protect him, if he could just get there. Chi slipped quietly through the trees and into the darkness.
