Chapter 4- Her

Alexio's POV

As I got of out of the HOTSC compound, I tried following her scent but it was too late I was at dead end. Her lingering scent long gone, leaving me with nothing. I felt frustrated that my mate had actually ran away from me. I couldn't help but think back to how magnificent she looked ripping out throats and  killing all those guards. She was a women after my own heart. Her beautiful brown wolf was so tiny yet so fierce. The way how she aggressively fought, I wonder who had taught her all those moves. My wolf felt proud of the female we received as a mate from the Moon Goddess. They way she was able to handle herself. I knew for fact if the way she held herself, there was going to be a fight for control. I would obviously win, she would learn to accept me and never run away from me again. Once I got my hands on her I would never let her go. 'We need to find her' my wolf huffed in annoyance not being able to control the need to have his mate by his side. We were possessive creatures, especially since I was an Alpha, my need to protect her, love her, and take care of her needs was overbearing. I shook my head at all these sappy emotions I was feeling. I'm turning into a pussy I thought to myself. All I know is one thing, if she wanted to be chased then let the games begin because no could run from me especially not my own mate.

As I headed towards the pack house my Beta Nathaniel meet me by our territory boarder. He knew my plan to over take HOTSC, although he didn't know I planned on being captured on purpose. It might not of been the smartest decision, but it was the best one since I didn't want loose any of my warriors. I knew they wouldn't be able to kill me, I didn't gain the tittle most feared alpha by not following through with my actions. My plan didn't work as well as I wanted to, since my mate had shown up I couldn't pretend to give up my pack  so we could destroy them, leading them into another location where my actual pack wasn't even close by. Oh well either way I know they would get what's coming to them especially Elder Devion, I didn't get a chance to kill him, I was too busy running after my mate.

" I didn't think you were crazy enough to actually follow through with the plan" Nathaniel spoke distracting me from my thoughts. " I am a man of my word" I spoke, smirking at his shocked behaviour. "Well how did it go ?" He questioned, his brown eyes shinning with anticipation. "Well it didn't go as planned, but I did meet my mate" to say my words shocked him was under statement. He was my best friend, Nate new how much I wanted to find my mate. I told him where I meet her, how she was a hunter working for HOTSC. "Are you serious?! A werewolf working as hunter?!" Nate spoke looking just as shocked as me. "Yeah man, we need to find her". I was so anxious to see her, thank the moon goddess for the trackers I had hired before hand, it was definitely going to come in handy at this time of need.

I knew it wouldn't be long until my trackers found her, two hours later I got an email with her information. It wasn't much but I did find out that her name was Evanna Laris, she was twenty-one years old, also that she recently leased out an apartment under a different last name. If it wasn't for how good and well I paid my trackers this little small detail would've been overlooked. I quickly sent a message through the pack link to my beta 'Nate gather our most trusted warriors. We're going to the city to find my mate'. My wolf was anxious to see those mischievous greens eyes again. My mind wouldn't stop thinking of her, I quickly got ready for what was to come.

As soon as we got to her apartment, my wolf could already feel his mate near by, it was a faint scent but it was still there. "Okay, You two will go North" I told my Gamma and Delta. "Kyle and Felix will go South" I looked at the pair of brothers. " I want you to check around the area go into clubs, bars, where ever you see that is open. Me and Nathaniel will go check her apartment." We jumped into action after I barked out my orders.

It was a disappointment to say that Evanna's apartment was empty. I growled in frustration, my wolf and I were getting restless of having our mate so close by yet out of reach. "Relax Alexio, I promise we will find her." Nathaniel spoke. I knew he was trying to calm me but it only made me more agitated. It didn't help that he didn't address me as Alpha "it's Alpha to you" I glared at him. It only seemed to amuse him. "Wow she really got under your skin, I really need to meet this girl" my Beta laughed. He was enjoying the way I was acting, however the time will come when he meets his match. Right when I was about to respond to his witty remark by Gamma spoke through our mind link 'Alpha Alexio, I think we found something, come to the club called Maddison, I just sent you our location through messenger'. That was all I needed, closing the door of her place me and Nathaniel got into my car driving towards Maddison.

We got there in no time, it was literally five minutes away from her place. I know that we could've walked, I just didn't want to waste any time. I saw Calvin my Gamma and Bradley my Delta questioning two girls. I wasted no time, I parked my BMW I8 and hopped out. Calvin turned around right away as I approached to fill me in that they were partying with a girl with the same description as Evanna. I knew it was true because I could smell a faint scent of my mate on them. That was just what I needed to head inside. Even through the loud music and dancing bodies, I spotted her right away. There she was dancing with a stranger the night away, her body swayed to the beat of the music, those beautiful green eyes closed and she leaned against the piece of shit who dared to grind his junk against my mate. Rage filled me up so fast, all I wanted was to rip that guy through shreds. I couldn't believe what I was seeing, how could my own mate do this to me. I was right about to walk there and beat him senseless, when Nate stopped mrbright away, he could see that my eyes was changing colour. 'Remember we're surrounded by humans we can't risk being discovered' he said through our mind link distracting me from shifting right here.

He was right I had to hold in my anger until I was back in our territory. Only what I saw couldn't stop me, as my mate willing let another guy guide her out of the crowd towards the exist. Not on our watch my wolf spoke and I agreed with him, before Nathaniel could stop me I was already outside. I grabbed her arm, bringing the cloth filled with chemicals which I brought cause I knew she would be a challenge. "You're not going anywhere mi amor" I whispered in her ear as her body went limp. I Lifted her up body bridal style. I looked at her sleeping form her facial features were so beautiful and well sculpted, she had a petite straight nose, kissable pouty lips, and rosy cheeks that I couldn't wait to caress gently.

"Hey man! What the hell!!" The scum bag spoke up distracting me from looking at my mate. This only fuelled my anger, I looked at my with my bright animalistic yellow eyes. "Never mind man, you can have her!" The idiot responded quickly jumping in his uber and driving off. Pussy me and my wolf snickered at his reaction.

"I can see that our mission here is done Alpha" Felix spoke up, as he looked at me holding Evanna's sleeping form. "Yes, were done here, let's head back to the pack house".
