Evana had always had something dark in her. She always liked being alone rather than spending time with others. Unlike many other she-wolfs, she didn't have any desire on finding her mate, her wolf was in the same page with her.
As Evana grew older...
I woke up with a raging headache, my mind was fuzzy about last nights event. Until everything came crashing down, I thought I was at the stranger rooms I met last night, but as soon as his scent entered my nose I knew it's was him. I was in Alpha's Alexio room. The more I thought about the situation I was in there worst my headache got. I had spoken too soon, I ran over to the bathroom as the bile started rising up my throat, I puked until I was dry heaving. I flushed the toilet then went over to the sink to wash my face and mouth. Remembering that this wasn't my apartment I had to settle for only using mouth wash. I was definitely not going to use his toothbrush.
I walked over to the balcony to see how high it was. I could probably jump but it would hurt a lot, I would have to wait until at least it started getting dark, so there was less pack members around. I knew it would be much easier to leave if there was only the boarder patrol.
I sat on the bed, thinking over my plan. If I played the Alpha's stupid little game and went along with the whole mate thing, I could trick him into thinking I actually wanted him. All I need is to come with a good story that would make him believe me on why I ran away from him. The knocking on the door interrupted my thoughts. " Can I come in?" A deep voice spoke out from behind the door. It was his room, of course he could come in. I rolled my eyes, I had to place nice in order for my plan to work. "Yes, of course" I said calmly. He entered the room with a tray of food, filled with bacon, eggs, pancakes, and a glass of orange juice. He walked towards the bed and set the tray in front of me. I eyed the food warily. "Well aren't you going to take a bite" he questioned. "Is it poisoned?" Hurt flashed through his eyes, he quickly composed himself. "No, and I'm sorry about what happened I didn't know what came over me last night." His apology seemed sincere. However, I still didn't appreciate the fact that he had kidnapped me. This was one reason I didn't like the whole mate thing, the bond shouldn't give consent for kidnaping or forcing a person into staying. "It's okay" I pretended to accept his apology when all I wanted was to punch his face. I counted to ten in my mind to compose myself. "But I wasn't the only one in the wrong. What the hell were you doing going away with that GUY!? YOU ARE MINE!" Alexio snarled, his sudden outburst only pissed me off even more. It's one of the reasons I hated alphas so much, they were always so territorial, hot headed, and possessive. None of your business I wanted to scream at him, instead I followed my plan to act innocent. "I... I don't remember much, all I have is some flashbacks, I think he might of spiked my drink" I looked up at him with fake tears dripping down my cheek. I could see he was trying to process what I telling him, but as soon as the tears streamed down my face it was game over. I had him wrapped around my fingers. It funny how a stupid bond will make a person so naive. "No, don't cry, I forgive you just don't do it again" Alexio tried to smooth me with his voice, wiping my fake tears with his thumb. It only made me want to break his thumb for touching me. For a moment we just stared at each other, unknown emotions swirled in his blue eyes.
Not being able to take the silent any longer, I spoke up "Uhh.. could you show me around, I would like to meet some of the pack members, and uhh maybe have breakfast together tomorrow morning". Alexio was thrilled at my request, he got up and left in hurry to grab me some clothes and ushering me to eat my breakfast. I didn't like being told what to do but I was definitely hungry and this would help with my hangover.
It was long until he was back with some feminine clothes, and a toothbrush. "You could use my bathroom to take a shower and get ready. I'll be outside" Alexio gave me the clothes with a with a small smile. I thanked and went with my business. It didn't take long for me to get ready. I didn't want to waste anytime, in case he other things to do.
I walked behind him as he gave me a tour of the pack house. It was beautiful, I had to give him that. The house was mostly surrounded by glass windows, which complemented the light wood floor as the sun shined through the window. As we walked the down the stairs there was more windows, which gave a view of the pool and the forest. The living room had fire place in one side with cream coloured couches around it and a flat screen tv that mounted on the wall. At the other side was the dinning table. In the middle a granite counter top that had five stools around it, behind it was the kitchen with a side door to the pantry. And this place even had a bar! Now that was the best part! All the colours completed each other giving it a modern yet cottage feel to it.

"This place is beautiful" I told him as I looked around. "You haven't seen the best part" with that said he lead me up towards the corridor that was under the stairs. We stopped by the door and as Alexio opened it I couldn't help but gasp, it had a sliding door to go outside. This was going to be easier than I thought to myself. Alexio must of taught my reaction was because I thought the room was exquisite, I was going to prove him wrong. I tested out my luck even more by asking if we could go for a run, to my surprise he agreed.

So here we were running around in our wolf form. It felt so good that soon I would be free again, I could go back to my old life, I could get my revenge. Elder Devion would get what's coming to him, I would make sure of that.
The more we ran the closer we got to his boarder. The more excited I got as I saw the warriors that were patrolling the boarders. There were 5 of them from what I was able to see without raising any suspicions. I wasn't stupid I knew they probably doubled up the number at night. I had to be cautious if I wanted this to work.
Alexio ran to my side his black wolf was way bigger compared to mine. He nudged with his wet snout, I wanted to snarl at his gesture. I choose otherwise because I knew it wouldn't be long until I was gone from this place without leaving a trace I thought as we ran back to the pack house.
