Persephone was with Aang and Katara as they were trying to help Sokka who had gotten a cold from the ship wreck. The girl frowned at her friend, trying to make sure he was okay while placing a cool wash cloth over his forehead. "This should bring your fever down." She told him, the boy smiling lovingly at her.
"I love you, Persephone." He muttered, the girl rolling her eyes as he went on another rant. "You know what I love about Appa the most? His sense of humor." He said, and Persephone giggled.
"That's nice. I'll tell him." Katara told Sokka, the girl sighing and trying to get rid of the sweat and seeing Sokka shiver.
"How's Sokka doing?" Aang asked.
"Not so good. Being out in that storm really did a number on him." Katara said.
"I couldn't find any ginger root for the tea, but I found a map. There's an herbalist institute on the top of that mountain. We could probably find a cure for Sokka there." Aang said and Persephone nods her head.
"I'll go with you." She said, getting up as Sokka whined.
"Aang, he's in no condition to travel. Sokka just needs more rest. I'm sure he'll be better by tomorrow." Katara said, only for her to start coughing and Persephone frowned.
"Not you, too." Aang whined.
"Relax. It was just a little cough. I'm fin- -" and then she started hacking again, Persephone looking to her.
"Katara, you're going to get sick just like Sokka. We need to go get some herbs for you to feel better." She said, Aang nodding his head in agreement.
"That's how Sokka started yesterday. Now look at him. He thinks he's an Earth Bender." Aang said while Sokka was trying to move a rock.
"Take that, you rock." He stayed while Persephone laughed.
"A few more hours and you'll be talking nonsense, too. We are going to find some medicine." Aang said, pulling Persephone close to him, only for lightening to strike down. "Uh, maybe it's safer if we go in foot." He told her.
"I agree." She said, and that's when Aang held onto Persephone and they started hopping along the mountains. Aang, put Persephone on his back and they started running towards the top of the mountain.
Aang has gotten used to this, Persephone always going to where Aang needed to, so they always found a way to go together, even if she wasn't an Air Bender.
