"Hey, look! A sword made out of a whale's tooth!" Aang stated, picking up the sword as Sokka ripped it out of Aang's hands.

"Let me see that." Sokka said, looking over the blade while Persephone watched him. "This is a Water Tribe weapon. See if you can find anything else." Sokka told Aang and Persephone, the girl sighing.

"Sokka, I understand that we are looking for more Water Tribe stuff, but that doesn't mean you should get your hopes up." She told him, looking through the bushes.

"Did someone lose something?" Katara asked.

"No, we found something." Aang told her, and Sokka knelt to the ground as he found a burnt arrow.

"It's burned. There was a battle. Water Tribe warriors ambushed a group of Fire Benders. The Fire Benders fought back, but the warriors drove them down this hill." Sokka said, everyone following him down towards the ocean as they couldn't find any more evidence.

"So then what happened?" Aang asked.

"I don't know. The trail ends here." Sokka said as something caught Katara's eyes.

"Wait! Look!" She yelled, and Sokka smiled.

"It's one of our boats!" Sokka yelled, Persephone running with them.

"Is this dad's boat?" Katara asked.

"No, but it's from his fleet. Dad was here." Sokka said happily, the girl smiling at him.

They had stayed by the boat that night, Sokka and Katara feeling a piece of home just sleeping next to it while Persephone cuddled into her sleeping bag, closing her eyes as she let the fire lower. Sokka looked at her and smiled at her, and he heard rustling in the distance. "Who's there?" He asked.

"Sokka?" The man asked, bandages covering his body.

"Bato?" He asked, and Persephone got up, the flames growing higher to make more light for the man's face.

"Who the what now?" Aang asked.

"Bato!" Katara said happily.

"Sokka! Katara!" He greeted, the two hugging the man. "It is so good to see you two. Oh. You've grown so much." He said and Persephone and Aang looked to each other as they went over to the new person.
