Stiles-

It was weird driving home without Derek in the jeep now. I had become pretty accustomed to the grumpy werewolf staying over at my place and it didn't feel right not having him glaring at me from the passenger seat. The journey was oddly quiet the entire time, as Derek wasn't messing around with the radio being indecisive of what he wanted to watch.
Scott and Isaac had fortunately agreed to come over, though, and I was glad to have some quality time with my best friend, even if his pessimist of a boyfriend was there.

Once Scott was actually at my place, I had noticed that he seemed to be planning something without me. I could be very observant at times, and he's a terrible liar.
'Scott, what are you planning?' I ask blatantly, hoping I'd get an answer just as easily.
'I have to go to Derek's place later and pick him up.' He blurts our, confusing me. 'He said that he spent too much time here and wanted to give you your room for the night.' As much as I appreciated the gesture, it confused me. Derek had said he'd come here if he needed to.
'I- I'm gonna go pick him up now. On my own. Don't have sex on my bed, or I'll poison you both.' Without giving them room to answer, I run outside to my jeep. I was picking Derek up whether he liked it or not. If he had to go to Scott's, then he probably shouldn't go home. He also didn't deserve to witness half the stuff Scott and Isaac do. Isaac really doesn't care where they are or who was around and could easily convince Scott with a kiss.
Everything was silent, and felt like something terrible was happening. Lydia was calling me, but I was driving, so I couldn't answer her yet. She kept calling and calling, and eventually, I had to turn my phone off so I could concentrate. Lydia and her banshee ways terrified me all of the time, no matter what.

I turned a corner, only two streets away from Derek's place when something came speeding in front of me. It was so sudden, and I couldn't stop on time, and I hit the vehicle straight on.

Hopefully, my camera had caught that.

Within a matter of seconds, my jeep was upside down with me inside, blood dripping down my forehead from hitting the wheel. I was starting to get dizzy, vision going blurry and background noise becoming static. What started as a little bit of blood on my face, was soon a lot, as the cut on my head proved worse than I thought. Sirens were heard from everywhere before my vision finally faded into blackness.

Derek-

I had heard the crash from my place, instantly getting up and rushing outside. At first, I didn't know why I had heard that particular crash, but it dawned on me moments later that it was Stiles' jeep, with Stiles inside of it. I raced up the street, panting.
By the time I had gotten there, the jeep was upside down and Stiles was unconscious with blood all over him, dripping from the side of his head. The other driver was nowhere to be seen, and he was there at the side of the road, people driving past like there wasn't a teenager in a car, potentially dying.
Ripping the door open, I reach to unbuckle his seatbelt and gently, slowly pull him out of the car. I called his dad, before picking Stiles up and running to the hospital, and which was thankfully pretty close to us.
'I need help!' I yell as I walk through hospital doors, Melissa immediately running over 'I found him at the side of the road in his jeep. He got into a crash and his jeep was somehow upside down with him inside. I don't know how long he would have been there so I ran.' She nods and he was put on a bed, immediately taken to another room to help him out. I didn't follow, knowing that the Sheriff would want to see someone whilst his son was being tended to.

'Derek! Derek, is he okay? Is my son okay?' Sheriff yelled, understandably panicked.
'I don't know yet, Melissa took him through. I found him in his jeep looking bad-'
'I know, I sent two men out to check the vehicle when you called about the crash. Thank you, Derek, I don't know what I'd do if he had- you know- before finding him.' I nod in understanding, hearing Melissa's footsteps in the hall.
'He should be okay, he had however suffered quite a few injuries, that he could have died from if Derek hadn't of found him when he did. He may be a little confused when he wakes up because he hit his head pretty hard, but I can take you through to him now if you'd like.' We both stood up immediately, and I followed his scent through the hospital without Melissa telling me. I had to know he was okay.

As I walked into the room, he lay unconscious on a bed, stitches in his forehead and his left arm in a sling.
'Derek?' I heard him mumble incoherently, as he opened his eyes.
'Hey, hey I'm here. It's okay, don't strain yourself. I'm not going anywhere. Stay there okay?' he forced a smirk and he grabbed my hand as I got closer to his bed.
'Where's my Dad?' I smile and point at the door, just as the sheriff walked through, breathless. 'Dad.'
'Hey, son. How are you feeling?' Stiles nods and groans, trying to sit up. He couldn't, and I could sense the pain he was in.
'Stiles, you need to keep still. You're going to hurt yourself more.'
'When has that ever stopped me before?'
'When I'm around. Lay down, none of us is leaving. Okay?' he chuckles and lays still, relaxing. 'Thank you. Do you remember what happened?'
'Someone came speeding out from around a corner. Was on the way to get you. You didn't have to go to Scott's, told you I didn't mind. You also don't deserve to be the third wheel.' I smile and nod, his eyes starting to close with exhaustion. 'Dad, go back to work. Derek's here.' He mumbled, before the monitor reading his heart started beeping. Something was wrong.
'Melissa, do something. There's something wrong with his heart.'
'Honey the-'
'His hearts slowing down. More than usual. Look. I can hear it.' I point to the monitor, and the numbers were rapidly falling. Melissa gasped and took action.

Three hours later, and still waiting for him to wake up at the side of his bed, I had managed to get the Sheriff to go home whilst I stayed. It was hard, but I knew Stiles wouldn't want his Dad here. He hated when his Dad worried like that.
Eventually, I heard him beginning to groan and wake up. I quickly got closer to him again and he slowly opened his eyes.
'Stiles. Hey, I'm still here. Told you I'm not going anywhere.' I whisper, pushing his hair out of his face.
'I don't feel so good.' He whispers, coughing and wincing. I immediately grabbed his hand and felt his pain leave his body as I took it.
'Is that better?' Nodding, he slowly turns to face me.
'You stayed.'
'I promised. I didn't want to leave you.' He smiled and attempted to pull me closer.
'I'm cold. Need my pillow.'
'I know, your Dads going to bring it in the morning for you. Let me pull the blanket up for you.' Nodding and lifting his okay arm, he let me grab the blanket so I could pull it up, but he was still shivering. 'Do you want me to get  you another blanket from Melissa?' As I spoke, Melissa and Scott both entered the room.
'Your Dad insisted that although you wouldn't want him here, that you had your own blanket and pillow.' Scott said with a smile, slowly placing the blanket over Stiles' body to keep the pain minimal. 'Isaac said he wants you to get better soon so he can go back to annoying you. I just want my best friend to get better, so if you almost die again, I might die myself, okay?' laughing, Stiles winced again, his ribs causing him pain.
'And your Dad said that you'd want to know "how roscoe is" so he asked me to tell you that your jeep is perfectly fine. You sustained more injuries than Roscoe did damage. Surprisingly the only damage was the windshield and the door. The door was probably Derek trying to get you out.'
'Couldn't let the idiot die.'
'Derek cut the bull, Scott could hear how you two were before we got in here.' Melissa said, placing the pillow behind Stiles' head.
'How long will I be here?'
'Just until tomorrow, after we run some tests. Mostly because you hit your head, and you were medically dead for five minutes.' He nods and pulls me to sit on the bed next to him. I was hesitant, but once looking to a smiling Melissa, I sat and let him lay close.
'What? His werewolf heat is way warmer than this room. It's freezing and he's always warm.'
'It's weird, seeing a conscious Derek be anything but an asshole.' Scott whispered jokingly. I glared at him, but as Stiles groaned, my focus was back on taking his pain again. Sarcastic, skinny, defenceless Stiles was in pain and nobody liked it. We all wanted him to be okay again, it was weird when he wasn't being a sarcastic little shit.
'Derek you can stop now, I'm okay.' He whispered, and I did.
