Stiles-
My Dad woke us up and saw how Derek and I were basically spooning. It didn't really bother me, because Derek's just a close, scary friend, but I could tell it confused my Dad. Derek rolled his eyes at me and got up, he expression having returned to his usual glum look. Honestly, you'd think he hated me with how he looks at me.
'Uh, Derek's now clean laundry is there. In your laundry basket that by the way has none of your own clothes in.' My Dad said, before leaving to go to work
'You wear my clothes?' Derek asked, completely shocked. If somebody leaves an item of clothing at my house, and I think it looks good, I'll wear it. Who cares? I just shrug it off and pick up another one of his t-shirts and a jacket. 'How did we end up spooning?'
'Suppose your dick really did like the attention from my ass in the end, sour wolf.' Derek glares at me once again, so I raise my hands in defence and continue to get dressed. I didn't care that he was still in the room, he's seen me in worse situations. Instead, I was a bit more focused on the way that he kept staring at my ass. A little surprised, I laughed and threw a shirt at him. Surprisingly, he laughed too, shoving me.
'Tell me you wouldn't stare at a mans ass too, Stiles,' I chuckle and pull on the jacket. 'I see how you stare at all of their asses.'
I don't stare at people, I just admire the view I'm given. If I see something I like, I admire it. Okay, maybe I stare a little, but anybody would.Getting into the jeep again, Derek insists that he must travel with me, so of course I'm stuck driving the werewolf with anger issues to school again. For the sixteenth time this month. I'll also end up driving him out of school too, because he won't go home.
As we I parked the jeep in my usual spot, I watched as Scott and Isaac made out on one of the benches. It was kind of disgusting, but I couldn't look away. Even Derek was staring at them, they were using tongue and all.
'We should leave them. Let's go to class on our own.' Derek mumbles, grabbing my wrist. Rolling my eyes, I pull my wrist from his grip and get out of the jeep. Right as I locked it, he started dragging me inside, not bothering to wait for them. 'I don't like being late, and I'm not letting you third wheel.' Silently thanking him for saving me from that torture, I punched his arm and glare at him for dragging me.We soon got to class, and as we got in, I sat next to Derek and we all waited for the teacher to get here. We all hated first period chemistry, but at least Derek made it somewhat bearable for me. He also understood the work a lot more than I do, and I could rely on him for the answers.
'Stiles, I can smell something. Wolfsbane. Someone's got wolfsbane with them. I need to leave.' I look around and stop him from leaving then, but he looked so pale already. 'Stiles I need to go! It's poisoning me.'
I saw a girls hair, with a purple plant in a flower crown. She had wolfsbane in her hair? It's not even an attractive plant.
'It's in her hair. Come on, let's get you out of here.' Already weakened somehow, he put his arm around my shoulders, falling against me. He was stumbling and about to pass out. 'Stay awake Der, you need to stay awake. Come on.' I dragged him out of the classroom, pulling him to the locker room, and standing him in the showers.
'I think something is near me. I can still smell it. It's like there's wolfsbane all around.'
'Hey, hey, Derek look at me. There's nothing in here. You need to breathe,' maybe particles of the wolfsbane had somehow gotten to him, on his skin, because there truly was no wolfsbane in here. 'Derek you're going to hate me for this. I think somehow particles of wolfsbane got onto your skin, so I'm going to turn the water on. Okay?' The water splashing against his skin seemed to cause him to "gain consciousness" and he started to breathe normally, before he actually passed out.
Being human, and experienced with this sort of thing, I raised my hand and slapped him hard enough to wake him up again. He was still a little out of it, but he seemed better than earlier.
'I think you need to go home. You can stay at my pla-'
'I don't want to be alone Stiles.' he whispered, and I noticed black blood coming from his shoulder.
'What is this?' I ask, extremely alarmed since I hadn't seen any injury on him last night.
'It's fine, I got into a fight with Peter that period I went missing and I think he slashed me with something when I was out cold.'
'Derek it's not fine! You're bleeding black blood, which literally means you could die!' He smiles and leans against me, drifting in and out of consciousness again. No wonder the wolfsbane caused him such a bad reaction so fast. 'Der, stay awake. Stay awake, I'm going to get you to Deaton, okay?' I quickly carry him out to the jeep, passing Scott and Isaac and quickly gaining their attention when they saw me carrying the big, bad, scary werewolf out of the building. Especially when they saw the black blood all over my hands.
'Scott, drive, he won't let go of me.' I whisper, trying to keep Derek awake. He seemed to be getting worse, and I didn't know what to do. It was almost as if I was going to watch him die if we weren't going faster. 'Scott, faster!'
'Stiles, it hurts.' Derek mumbles, finally dropping the glares.
'I know. Isaac, can you do something for his pain?' Seeing Derek in pain was weird, nobody had ever really seen him like this before and we never thought we would.
'He's in agony, Scott you really need to drive faster. Stiles' dad is the sheriff anyway and I'm sure he won't let you get a ticket.' Isaac gasps as he tries to take some of Dereks pain. Derek groaned and gripped my thigh, claws digging into the skin as he gained consciousness, but hand dropping to his side when he faded out of consciousness. After fifteen painful minutes of driving, we finally got Derek to Deaton, who immediately took him inside and worked on treating him.
'He said Peter might have slashed him whilst fighting.' I inform, making sure Deaton knew any available information. We couldn't lose another friend. Five minutes later, more wolfsbane had been burned out of him, and a pale looking Derek was smiling at me.
'You're annoyingly persistent. You know that, right?' Smirking, I nod and show him my ripped jeans, where his claws had cut into my thigh. 'I'm sorry. Does it hurt?' Truthfully, I shake my head no, hoping he'd get some rest so he'd be okay. Instead of doing that, though, he decided to immediately get up and start moving. He really is quite idiotic at times.
'Stiles, drive me to the store?' He mumbles, back to his usual glum self. I sigh and nod, I really was being used as a chauffeur lately. 'I'll buy you curly fries. With cheese on them. And I'll pay for pizza later. You know, for saving my life.' although idiotic, I could never say no to food, especially if Derek was paying for it.
