Chapter 7

The next five days of Midoriya's heat had passed by in a blur. The only thing either boys really remembering is that they would mate and then continue to pass out. But of course, this wasn't going to end well.

The day his heat had ended, Bakugou shoved past the greenette without a word, and left him alone in his room. This wasn't good for either teen, as they were newly mated. Alphas tended to be very overprotective of their mates for the first few weeks, barely even leaving their sides. Omegas suffered separation anxiety for a long while after being marked, and were very vulnerable and sensitive during this time. Both boys yearned to be in each other's embrace, but knew they shouldn't... it would only cause even more problems.

The freckled boy was slowly, but surely falling into relapse with every passing day that his mate ignored him. He never seemed to leave his room, instead sleeping inside of his homemade nest all day. He made the nest of out the things that smelled of a certain blonde that had been left after their "activities". He needed to be with his alpha, but knew it was impossible. Their situation was too complicated.

It's been three weeks since the last time the younger boy had heard the elder's voice. He had barely even seen him as he had been spending all of his time at his boyfriend's house. This pained the smaller boy, because he had been marked. Once an omega was marked, that bond would never break until they died, even if it was one sided. On the other hand, the alpha could go around marking any omega he seemed fit. He wouldn't be affected nearly as much as the omega who would be driven to suicide in most cases of them being abandoned. 

Todoroki has been helping the marked boy, sneaking things from the hot headed teen's room every once in a while for the omega's nest. He was disappointed at first when he heard that Midoriya had allowed himself to be marked during his heat, by someone in a serious relationship no less, but quickly saw it wasn't his fault. The greenette didn't know his heat was going to come so soon, and couldn't take suppressants for the fear of how his antidepressants would react. It had been the blonde's fault.

He allowed himself to be seduced, even though he knew he had someone he loved very dearly already. He had allowed himself to mark an omega he wasn't serious about, and now that poor boy had to pay the price. The greenette was slipping back into a head space he had fought so hard to crawl out of, and it broke the bi colored teen's heart.

When Midoriya craved to be given attention from an alpha, Todoroki was there. When he started to freak out whenever he couldn't smell his alpha anymore, Todoroki was there. When he began to show pregnancy signs, Todoroki was there to comfort him. He hadn't been far enough along to take a test if he really was pregnant, so they were going to have to wait.

The dual haired alpha had always been there for the freckled omega, and had been there to take care of him every single time. While the blonde who had marked him refused to acknowledge the fact that he had existed. If he hadn't been so stupid, he could've easily fallen for the other alpha in their home. He still could, but no one wants a marked omega.

It had officially been an entire month since Midoriya's heat ended. He had been showing many signs of pregnancy, so Todoroki took him out to buy a test. Neither boy had heard, nor seen, the blonde in over a week. He hadn't returned home at all.

The pair was now walking down the sidewalk to a shabby convenience store a few blocks away. They were both shaking ever so slightly, this could end very badly. Neither wanted to talk about it, instead making conversation on what was for dinner. Katsudon, Midoriya's favorite.

They had reached the entrance, the taller boy holding the door for the shorter. He blushed lightly before ducking his head and walking in. The alpha followed after him, both going up and down the aisles, looking for what they needed. When the omega had found it, he called the alpha over, showing him. The bi colored teen nodded, it was a good price and seemed reliable. Now was the hard part, buying the test.

Midoriya was practically mortified at the thought of the cashier judging him while he bought the box. He froze in the middle of the store, his close friend quickly catching onto what was happening. He gently took the box from his hand and walked to the counter, giving the beta worker a soft smile.

She had seemed to be flirting with the alpha, though Midoriya couldn't tell, he was too far away from them. Todoroki handed the woman some cash, telling her to keep the change, before walking to the greenette. They both exited the store promptly, wanting to just be back home already.

They were nearly home when they saw a certain blonde across the street with a redhead. The pair both saw them, and turned their heads the opposite direction. They did not want them to recognize them.

"Midoriya! Todoroki!" the shark toothed boy yelled, waving. The alpha and omega both sighed in annoyance. This was going to be harder than they had thought. The loud and hot headed teens both walked towards the monotonous and shy pair. Three out of four had an awkward smiled plastered on their face.

"Hi, Kirishima," the dual colored boy said, "What are you two up to?" He made small talk, hoping it would bore the two so he and the greenette could go home.

"We were just gonna go see the new movie at the theater!" the boy was still obnoxiously loud and bubbly, "What about you?"

"We were just doing some," Midoriya paused, stumbling over his words, "shopping! Yeah we were shopping." He let out a nervous chuckle, avoiding everyone's stares being cast upon him.

"What were you shopping for?" the blonde asked, making the omega's knees weak. He hadn't heard that smooth, deep voice in so long. 

"Just some things," the other alpha answered, seeming quite bored, "We have to get going now. Bye." He started to walk away, the omega following after him, until the redhead spoke up.

"Midoriya!" he gasped, "Is that a pregnancy test in the bag? You dog!" His words were playful, and delivered in a teasing manner, but he froze. Shitshitshitshitshit.

"So what if it is?" the bi colored male snapped, "It's none of your business. Though that seems to be a reoccurring theme with you, doesn't it? You poking your nose into other people's business, that is." Then he turned to leave again, not being stopped by anyone this time. The greenette left too, what Todoroki said was true. Kirishima just wanted to gossip.

They finally made it back to their apartment, heading straight for the bathroom. The alpha handed the omega the box and sat outside. The pale boy did what he needed, then unlocked the door, allowing the tanner boy to come in and ease his nerves. They only needed to wait three minutes. They set a timer on Midoriya's phone.

"You okay?" the dual haired boy asked, getting a meek nod. He was really freaking out, but he knew the alpha already knew that much.

What do I do if it's positive?

Two minutes left.

Am I fit to raise a baby?

One minute.

What will everyone think? What will Kacchan think?

Done.

Both boys heard the timer go off and they flinched. They really didn't want to check the results. But they knew they had to, so they did.

It was positive.
