In the morning Richie got up and got roses for Eddie with a poem. He knocked loud and clear on Eddies door. Eddie stood up and welcomed him inside with a tired yawn.
"What are you doing here Rich?"
"I fucked your mom last night" Richie told the darkly dressed boy with a soft giggle at the end.
"Beep beep" Eddie roles his eyes. He pulled a soft blanket over his shoulders in an attempt to cover up his bare chest
"Watcha got there?" Eddie asked noticing the roses. Richie pushed the roses into Eddie's chest
"For me?" Eddie asked surprised that he was given flowers almost as beautiful as he saw Richie.
"No their for your mom. Of course their for you silly!" Richie's face turned red and his fingers trembled.
"We are going to lunch later to if you'd like to come" Richie said softly.
Eddie heard him but didn't respond. Instead he simply read the poem
"Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
And I like you"
It read. Eddie jumped into Richie's arms. Richie was warm and comforting. Eddie began to cry and Richie just hugged him.
"That's a stupid poem Richie"
The soft boy slightly giggled as he pulled Eddie off him
"Let's go to lunch with the losers now" Richie and Eddie arrived at lunch
"Well if it isn't the Trashm0uth" Bev said jokingly
"And the one and only.... WHEEZY!" Ben shouted while nudging Bev.
The losers ordered and ate their food. Eddie lay his hand on Richie's knee. They decided to play "Telephone" Richie went first he decided to tell the group he was gay but by the end of the round Bev thought he said "With a Green Plate" and he had to tell them it was "Richie Tozier is gay" they all laughed it off but when everyone knew that Eddie had said "Eddie and Richie are dating" then the losers knew that not Rich or Ed's where lying. Stan sucked his head down and silently cried as he had a crush on Richie.
"What's wrong Stan?" Mike asked sympathetically.
Stan sniffed and said "nothing.. I'm fine" and he ran into the restroom.
While he was in the restroom the losers exclaimed their accept-ion and how they are happy for the two lovers.
Bill grew suspicious and went to check on Stan.
"Stan ar-are you o-o-okay?" He questioned banging on the stall he heard crying from.
Stan opened the door and cried into Bill shoulder.
"I-I liked Richie..." Stan got out through sobs. Bill comforted Stan until he could go back to lunch.
"Hey Stan the man!" The losers all said at once like they where programmed to say it. They all cheersed and went for the last swim of the summer at the quarry.
