Hey!! My name is Shivani a.k.a. Shiv. I have a secret I'm in love with Kartik a.k.a Karti the charming chocolate boy of Bollywood. It all started 3 months ago...

3 Months ago (flashback)...

My phone keeps ringing waking me up from my beauty sleep. Annoyed I pick up the phone without checking the caller ID."What??" I snap."Hello to u too, "says an exceedingly charming voice that I can recognize from anywhere Kartik my bestie whom I am crushing on so badly that my heart may burst one day. "Karti ?? What do u want at 1 in the morning?? Don't u know how much I need my sleep" I ask in anger. "Hey Shiv, I need to see u now. I know it's late but it is important. Get Anjali and come out I am waiting for you in the hostel garden. Hurry." he says.

"Fine..". I wake up my best friend Anjali who is like a sister to me and drag her from the bed, down the hall, and sneak into the garden.

Looking around I see no one thinking it to be one of Karti's pranks I decide to leave. Suddenly two strong arms wrap around my waist. Bewilderment in my eyes as I turn around and am faced with a smirking Kartik. Even in the moonlight, he looks gorgeous his dark hair messy and unruly like he had run his hands through them multiple times. His black-brown eyes shine in the moonlight, I find myself crushing on him even more as we stare into each other's eyes till we hear a scream from Anjali due to her excitement after seeing her boyfriend Rahul after a long time. I broke apart from the position to meet Rahul who was our senior in law school and also Kartik's brother and the fourth member of our group. I see a flashlight coming towards us grab Karti's and Rahul's hands and run with Anjali following. I drag us to the behind of our hostel before the security guy catches us.

"What are u doing here?" I whisper to Kartik

"I wanted to tell u something," he says

"What is it that u want to tell me?" I whisper-yell at Karti

"I... I love you"

Those 3 words echo around me. I couldn't believe the same words that I wanted to tell him he was telling me. "Shiv I know this is a surprise but if I don't tell u now I don't think I will ever be able to tell u. I wouldn't say I like it when boys talk around or ask you out. At first, I thought it was because you were my best friend but then I felt more and more attracted to u. You don't have to say anything immediate--- "

I cover my hands on his mouth and say "All I know is that I love you, Karti. I have loved you from the day we became friends"

"I love you too," he says
