Kar's PoV
The wedding is in 2 weeks and the madness has already started. The house in filled with wedding planners,decorators,caterers and what not. Everyone is busy with the wedding preparations and the mansion is once again filled with relatives. I never got a chance to speak with Shivani since she is Anjali's only family,she would always be busy doing something or another. She would so busy that she wouldn't be bear me a glance.I don't know what is happening to her or to us . I was very much worried about her safety as the person who tried to kill me is still out and I don't think I will ever be in peace till he is behind bars.

Ringgggggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I look up to see Bharat's name appearing on my phone. I quickly attended the call and listen to what Bharat has to say.

"Hello Karthik I want you to come to my office quickly I have some news for you. Hurry bring Rahul as well "

"Hey yea I'll be there .Give me ten minutes."

I find Rahul and take my keys and drive towards Bharat's office.reaching there I met Bharat in front. he took me and Rahul into the office "We have found the person in the sketch his name is Dev and he is one who gave the lorry driver the cash and it was from his account that huge amount money had been transferred to the lorry drivers which is why we couldn't find them sooner. But he's not ready to reveal who the actual person is. He wants to talk to you that is why I immediately called you guys. "

"Okay take us to him. Let's see what he has to tell us."

Bharat takes Rahul and me to the room where Dev is kept and Dev greets us with a smile "Ohh you guys are here. I am so sad to see you alive Kartik I thought that you would have been dead when I gave the contract to that stupid lorry driver.But I guess you were lucky that night. "

"What do you want to tell us and hurry up because we have other things to do."

"Oooo straight to the point I like that. I like straight forward people. "

"Oh just cut the crap and tell us Why did you want Karti dead and Who asked you to do it??" Rahul asks with his teeth clenched.

"2 questions Who I can't tell not now but why yes. You are the sole heir for the Varma Group of companies.Since Rahul is adopted and is into law and has no interest in business it will all belong to you. Why do you think we targeted you ????"

"You are getting on my nerves,just give the answer to my question Goddammit." I say 

"I can say that it is someone very close to you.THINK KARITK THINK. Who would want to take over your company and kill you. Who would be benefiting from your death." 

I banged my hand on the table and strode out of the room. Rahul and Bharat followed me out of the room.

"Karitk what do we do now ??"

I closed my eyes as I think about what Dev said and I get an idea who it is but I am not so sure myself.

"I got it. I got who it is." I say suddenly as a lightbulb hits me.

"Tell me who it is?" Rahul asks

"It's Mohan and Sona."

"Are you sure??"

"Yea I am. Think about what Dev said. Who came to our home as soon I got into the accident and who is forcing Sona to be my girlfriend. Who is trying drive Shivani away from me?? Don't you get its them, its always been them. " 

"Yea now when I think about it its true." Rahul says processing the details

"Then let me arrest them"

"No not now we have to be sure and we have to catch them red-handed. And plus there's a wedding gonna happen in the household. Let the wedding be over and then we'll do something. We can't let Granny down she has been very excited for this wedding." 

I needed to talk to Shivani I have to tell her to be careful. They can't be trusted anymore but how can I talk to her when she is not talking to me. After discussing with Bharat what to be done next we decided to home. Reaching home I see Shivani and Manoj Uncle sitting together discussing something,I guess it is something about the wedding. I got an idea.

Later that night I met with Manoj Uncle.He could tell that something was bothering me. Manoj Uncle could read me like a book so I told him everything from the start from Shivani being girlfriend and to the point where we find Dev. I asked him to give Shivani a plain chain with a pendant as a gift from me since she was talking to me.But there was a tracker in the pendant so that I would know where she goes and so that I know that she is safe.He promised that he'd keep her safe and not tell her anything.Relived I decided to go to bed.
