Shiv's PoV
The wedding is in two weeks and I've been so busy running here and there and also I've been avoiding Kartik for sometime now because I don't know what's happening. We aren't like we were before I mean we don't talk anymore or even spend time anymore. With all the investigation and the wedding around the corner I guess we've been too busy. I've kept myself purposely busy during these weeks because I don't know what to talk to him about. It's like we don't have any topics to talk about.
During these weeks I've become closer to Manoj Uncle as I've been spending a lot of time with him and I've told him the truth he promised to keep it secret.
"Hey" and a hand waving in front of my face breaks my trance I see it's Manoj uncle. "Hi uncle what's up"
"Shivi I have something for you. You have been doing so much for the wedding and I wanted to give you something in return and you can't say no. " he takes out a simple chain with a beautiful pendant and hands it over to me. I take and strap it on my neck.
