A New Feeling

Few months had passed since Avni's confession about Mowgli's pregnancy days. Saisha had given birth to a boy an a girl. Neil and Avni visited her at the hospital where Saisha was cradling a blue bundle while KK was cradling a pink one. Saisha teared up happily at the sight of Avni.

Saisha : Jaan Di.

Avni hugged Saisha close to her. She looked at the bundle in Saisha's arms. She could see a small baby. The baby had features of KK but it had Saisha's nose. She took the bay into her arms.

Avni : So this is Mr. Kapoor, I am guessing.

Saisha : You are right Di.. And the one in KK's arms is Miss.Kapoor.

Avni turned to look at KK. KK was handing over the baby to Neil. Neil took the baby in his arms and smiled at her. Avni's heart melted at the sight of Neil holding the baby in his arms.. Her thoughts drifted over to her own baby. How would Neil be if he took their baby in his arms. She was brought out of her thoughts by Neil's voice.

Neil : KK.. She is so beautiful..

KK : She is.. My Princess.

Avni smiled at the pride in KK's voice.. Saisha smiled at her husband. Avni looked at the baby in her arms. He had opened his eyes and was now looking at Avni with dark black eyes. He whimpered and Avni rocked him lightly back and forth, cooing softly. Neil smiled at his wife and the baby. Avni was going to be a great mother.. It was only a matter of few months after which they would have their own bundle of joy in their arms. He couldn't wait to experience that joy with Avni. Neil handed over the baby to KK.

Neil : So.. What are you going to name her ?

KK : We have been thinking of different names..

Saisha : Yes.. And also having had our differences over the names.. 

KK : Now we thought that we would settle on names that we both equally agree on.

Avni : So.. What have you decided ?

Saisha : We've decided to name our boy as Rishav and our daughter as Rashi.

Avni : Beautiful names for the beautiful babies.

Neil : Yes. The names are very beautiful.. Congratulations guys..

They reached home after meeting Saisha and KK. Avni's baby bump was begininng to show. Shweta had become even more of a mother hen. She even threw Neil out of the room one day and gave him bathroom duties because he had made fun of Avni for her cake cravings. Avni had burst into tears when Neil made fun of her. Right now, she was in her room with Shweta. Shweta was telling her about her pregnancy days. 

Avni : Mom. Did Neil kick a lot ?

Shweta : Don't ask.. He never let me sleep. He kept on kicking.. I think he thought of my stomach as a football.. And I kept having cravings for paneer at odd times in the night.. Poor Khanna Sahab.. He used to run around at night to get me what I wanted.

Avni : Haha.. Active baby.

Shweta : Yes. And he was a heavy baby.. Very heavy baby.. The fault was mine. I used to eat 3 to four apples and bananas everyday.. Infact.. I have an album of Tillu's baby pictures.. Wait.. I'll show them to you.

Avni smiled widely at the prospect of Neil's baby pictures. Shweta brought out a big album from her wardrobe and took it to Avni.. She opened it and pointed out the pictures to Avni. Avni laughed at one certain picture where a baby Neil can been in the bath tub without anything on. He was frowning in the picture. There were picture of Neil in his diaper, with his toys and one with him hugging his mother with a big smile. She smiled.. There was a striking similarity between Neil and Raksh.
