Chapter 3-Unknown Spark

Hyena's View

I scratch the back of my neck as I started reading the papers. I'm lucky that I can memorise the written words in this stupid papers. I didn't even know that I will be working in a hell...

I sighed and positioned my back on the chair so I can relax for just a moment. I look at the papers. There are still 20 papers left. How can I finish this all? I'm so tired. I tried to close my eyes when my phone suddenly rang. I opened my eyes and then got my phone and answered the call.

Still dumbfounded, not knowing who's calling me. "Hello?" I said still eyes closed.

*Hyena*

I opened my eyes and look at the caller ID. Heejun I rolled my eyes and put my phone near my ears again. "What do you need asshole?" I said coldly. I heard him sighed.

*Can we meet? I'll explain everything to you, Hyena we can fix----*

I ended the call. And I directly broke into tears. Hearing his voice made me want to hug him, but I know that I will just look like pathetic towards him. I also have pride, I wouldn't come back to him again, I wouldn't be fooled again. I won't let that happen again.

I wipe my tears and continued my work. My phone keeps ringing so I put it on a silent mode. I need to fix my self and forget about that douche.

{A few moments later}

I'm so exhausted... I wanna finish this all, my hair is so messy now and my face is also a mess. I rested my head on the table and closed my eyes. When suddenly I heard a knock on my door. "Come in" I said. Then a girl with a short hair entered the room.

"Hi... I was wondering if you wanna have a dinner with us?" she said. I pointed my self "With me?" I said. She smiled and nodded. I was about to say yes when that annoying dwarf CEO entered.

He leaned his back on the wall "Did you finish all of your work?" he said. He pointed the remaining papers on my table "No, not yet sir" I said slowly. He nodded and turned around away from me.

"Then you cannot go with them" he said and got out of my office. I look at the girl "I'm sorry" I said. She just nodded and smiled then bowed before going out of my office. When they got out of the office I started shouting in grief.

Why can't I go in a dinner?! I can still go back here after that and finish this all! I really hate him. I groaned and just continued working, I will really finish this and when I finish this? I will throw this to his face so that he would say that I am a good worker. Well a badass worker.

I was just focusing on my work until I didn't notice that I already finished all of it. I started stretching and yawned, I wanna sleep now... Can I go home already? I stood up and opened the door. Only to see a dark hallway with no people. I guess all of the workers already left.

Also that CEO, I sighed and just entered my office again. I got near the water dispenser and started drinking some water, the 7/11 shop is far from this company. So I can't go there and buy an instant noodle. I sat down on my chair and look around. I didn't notice that this office is really big.

I positioned my head on the table and closed my eyes. Until I drifted to sleep.

I walk through the dark hall, until I reach Hyena's office. I opened the door lightly, is she still working? Or did she already left? Then why didn't she lock her door? I took a peep and saw her sleeping. My mouth directly opened seeing her sleep peacefully.

I was just joking earlier, I didn't mean to tell her to sleep here and.... Oh my God did she already ate or not? Does I sound really serious earlier? I  guess I'm not really good at joking. I entered her office not making any noise. I got closer on her table and stared at her sleep.

How can a girl sleep not even drilling or snoring? Well I guess she's a girl and maybe that's her style. I heard her groaned a little and move her head to the other side, facing me. I got shock seeing her face up too close. My heart directly skip a beat. I clutch my heart and stared at her face.

What happened to my heart? Do I have a heart illness? Ugh! I must be crazy I can't control my hands and I caressed her face and tuck some of her at the back of her ear. I saw a blanket on the sofa and then I stood up and got it. I covered her with it and I look at her again.

*Insert a magical spark sound😁*

I sighed and then I got out of the office. I'll be working again tomorrow, and the day after tomorrow. I ignored what I just felt and just entered my office.
