For now, he decided to tell him only half-truth, so he wouldn't be too much on his tail before he'd blurt our anything, that'd mess it up for Taehyung.

Jungkook freaked out - no proper words were coming to his intoxicated brain. Still quite in the panic mod Kook basically said: " I used to know one buddy with the hair like that few years ago, but he most likely moved away. "

" Is that so... That could have happened, though it simply means the person you're talking about is not the one I need to find. " Replied Namjoon whilst further inspecting clearly terrified Jungkook. "

While both were more or less invested in the conversation, none of them noticed the third person, who sneaked up on them.

" I really did move away for a while but then moved back a year ago Kook. " Spit out Taehyung from behind them and gave Junkook half-hearted glare.

As soon as he heard Taehyung speak, he knew he messed it up for himself, especially when he was "lying for Tae's sake."

And because one of the few things Taehyung really hated was lying, Jungkook knew he was in deep trouble.

Kook broke out in a cold sweat and quietly uttered broken up sorry to his hyung whilst lowering his head to show remorse in hopes Taehyung wouldn't excruciate him further.

He considered being tough on him but when he saw his remorseful expression, it made him soften up a  bit: " You're lucky you amateur. Lie again next time and I won't let you get off the hook so easily. " Then Taehyung turned towards Namjoon " I know you want to learn what happened few months ago and I am gonna tell you - promise. No messing around because this matter is not a joke. "

After he finished the sentence, he looked back at Kook, well or at least what was left of him in his drunken stupor to give him proper last warning glance.

After that, without turning back for the third time Taehyung called Namjoon out to join him in his journey to the private room in the heart of the club, it was not a problem since he knew the owner.

~~~
The room was vast - adorned with many copies of beautiful antic statues. In the middle at the end stood a medium-sized antic temple surrounded by strange faintly glowing offerings.
In front of the temple stood two wooden chairs, which had its back carved out, and the middle was decorated with ornate flower design.
Between them was situated a medium-sized table that stood on six legs composed of carved wooden lions.
Taehyung was already familiar with the bizarre room design and its contents and wasn't phased by it in the slightest, so he just casually stepped in and sat at the table.
The room was dim, though not entirely dark, just enough for their eyes to adjust, ensuring black and white coloration of their vision for the rest of the room that wasn't lit (up) by the weak light which came from the altar.
To Taehyung, the room felt familiar because he often met inside with the club owner to just talk and chill, so it was pretty normal for him to simply sit there in the dimness but Namjoon felt pretty creeped out from the atmosphere the whole dark room had with its arrangement. If someone were to ever make him stay in such room by himself, he would try to flee by any means possible.
'Though this really isn't the time to freak out, what the fuck am I doing?! This person came out especially to explain himself and to apologize... Why am I even afraid? Though I do have a bad feeling about what's going to happen anyway. '
