kelani's pov- I read many books on romance and I love to fantasize. I was on the last chapter of my favourite book as I heard my mother yell, she ruined the moment. I quickly shut my book and jog downstairs. I approach the door and my bestie sophie was there! "hi hoe, you weren't picking up your phone so i came over haha perks of being your neighbour. anyways my brother is having a party at 8:00 pm" sophie said with excitement. sophie came inside, and dragged me upstairs. i decided to go anyways because it was a sunday night and i had no plans anyways.

i put on some white airforces and we were headed out the door.
as i walked into her house i could just smell the alcohol and weed and it was a strong smell. it reminded that i haven't been to a party in so long since my toxic ex would never let me. glad that's over.
it was a typical teenage party, there were drugs, beer, people making out, and a lot of high people. sophie took my hand and brought me to the middle of the dancing area, she started dancing. "come on kel it's not that bad just dance with me" sophie said. i finally agreed so we danced for a bit.
"sophie i'm gonna go get us drinks, be right back" i told sophie. she nodded and kept dancing. i go over to the area where they have all the drinks, i normally don't drink but today i was feeling the urge to.
there was a whole gang of boys across from me, i wasn't bothered but they were known to be scary gang at our school. there was malcom, samy, luca and mariano castano. he basically ran the school and everyone feared him. as i pour drinks i clumsily spill the alcohol on my whole dress, thankfully everyone was too busy to notice. "ugh i'm such an idiot" i said under my breath in anger looking down at my soaked dress. i go upstairs hoping to find a restroom to clean up. i finally find one and i took off my dress revealing me in only my bra and underwear. i start squeezing out the beer in my dress over the tub. as an idiot i forgot to lock the door. i heard the door crank open as the house was very old.
