"No, Charles. You tell me what happened."

Kanina ko pa pinipilit si Charles na mag-kwento sa akin. I'm curious.

"We had misunderstanding." Tuluyan na nga niyang sinabi.

I stiffened. "Oh... sorry. Akala ko nagdradrama ka lang, e."

"It's fine. Pasok muna ako sa kwarto ko." Tinanguan ko lang siya kaya umalis na ito.

"Sugarplum!"

I closed my eyes for a while when I heard him saying that endearment again.

Saan niya ba napulot 'yan?

"Sugarplum, I've cooked a food for you." Proud niyang sabi nang makalapit siya.

"Masarap ba 'yan?" Tanong ko kaya napangisi siya. Before he could misunderstood me, I talked again. "The food you cooked, I mean. Kung ano-ano pinag-iisip mo."

"Yes, oo naman, Sugarplum."

Pumunta kami sa kusina at sabay naming kinain 'yung niluto niya.

He pouted. "Pwede na." He mocked me. "You must say, ang sharap sharap, Shugarplum! Taposh masharap ka pa!"

I rolled my eyes at tinapunan siya ng tinidor pero agad niya itong nailagan. He laughed.

Natapos kami sa pagkain at sinabi niyang siya na ang maghuhugas ng pinggan. Ang lakas ng loob mag-suggest, kapangyarihan niya naman ginagamit niya sa paghuhugas.

Pumunta na lang ako sa couch at maya-maya'y sumunod na siya.

He sat beside me. "Okay ka na, Aqua?"

I nodded. "Like I should."

Sa aming tatlo, siguro ako ang naunang maging maayos. Okay na ako. When I'm thinking about it, I'm no longer thinking that this happened because of, insert negative thoughts, and all that. And Ezra's right. We're lucky because Mom is still kicking, unlike what happened to Threa. She acts fine but I know deep down, she is feeling melancholy and crestfallen.

"Ashrium and Aqua, your Dad did save me. So please save yourself as well, in any matter. Naniniwala akong mabait na mga bata sina Charles at Deralm, umaasa rin ako na hindi nila kayo pababayaan. Just like what your Dad did to me." Mom uttered underneath her breath.

She kissed our foreheads. "Go now. I'll be fine here. Fight for what's right, daughters. I love you both."

My Mom is so kind. Kahit na pinatay nila si Dad, she never told us to make our revenge. She just wants us to do what's right.

"Bukas stress na naman, laban na naman." Airox said beside me.

"Tulad ng sabi ni Axcel, we can make it daw." I said. "Kahit mahirap, we can do this.
