Mondo awoke to a large pain in his side that felt like pushing. He turned to the side and sure enough, it was Taka trying to wake him up. " Mondo! Wake up! Our plane boards at 7! " Taka pushed his head into Mondo's shoulder, trying to move him, unsuccessfully. Mondo turned and looked at the digital clock they had on their side table, and then his husband. " Babe. It's 2:12 am. You can worry at five, the airport is 18 minutes away.  " Mondo rolled back on his side and dug his head into the mattress. " But! But!" Mondo rolled his eyes. " No buts. " Taka mumbled a couple of words he'd normally not say to a man of power, which is what Mondo was to him. " Bitch, get up..." Mondo rolled over. " Don't call me a bitch, bitch." He poked the red-eyed male's chest. " I-I'm so so sorry!" Mondo nodded. " It's okay, you just lost your temper. I'll get up." Taka embraced Mondo. " I'm so sorry.." Taka hugged his husband tight. " I love you. " Taka nuzzled his head into Mondo's chest. " I love you too, Taka. " Mondo pulled away and started walking towards the bathroom. The two boys got started with their days. It was 4:00 am. Taka was getting a piggyback ride out to the car while Mondo carried the luggage to the car. " Weeeee!!!" Taka jumped down to help Mondo. The two shoved their bags into the trunk of their car. Mondo closed the back of the car. Taka rushed into the house to pet the dogs one last time before their week-long trip. " Taka! Let's go! " Mondo gave him 'come here' finger thing. Taka sighed and pet the dogs one more time while waving to Leon and Hagakure, he noticed something..kind of, odd. He ran out the door and sprinted to his Volvo XC40. " You ready?" Mondo put the car into Drive. " Mhm. I still don't see why I can't drive?" Mondo chuckled. " That's because whenever we drive for ten minutes plus, you always fall asleep. And I don't know about you, but I wouldn't like to die just driving to an airport." Taka rolled his eyes. " Fine. Thank you for looking out for me I guess. " Taka chuckled, laying his head on the neck pillow Mondo had brought for him. He rested his eyes. " I told you. " He nudged the sleeping boy.

Once they arrived at the airport, Mondo slung his lover over his shoulder. Taka awoke to Mondo's shoulder in his face. " Huh?-" He wiggled himself out of Mondo's grasp and plopped on the gravel. " Get up and help me with this luggage." And so, Taka did. He grabbed his Suitcase and Mondo's travel-on bag, while Mondo grabbed Taka's carry on bag and his backpack.

Once they had waited a few hours, and Taka had easily fallen back asleep, the boy's flight was called for. " ATTENTION, NOW BOARDING FLIGHT 180" The intercom blasted. Mondo woke Taka up and the two males walked to the entryway. There was a nice lady, probably in her 20's standing outside the gate. Taka scanned the girl, she seemed suspicious to him. Mondo noticed she was kind of checking him out while letting them in through the gate. Taka looked back at the girl, she was looking at what Taka called someone's 'no-no square'. He. was. INFURIATED. Taka reamed the lady. " WHAT THE HECK LADY?! STOP STARING AT MY HUSBAND?!" The lady seemed taken back by the furious male. " S-Sir. I'm going to need you to c-calm down, or I'll need to call security. " She backed up as Mondo pulled Taka away from the woman. " Babe! Back off of her! " Mondo shoved him back and tried to calm the lady who was profusely crying down. " REALLY?! YOUR GOING TO HELP HER?! SHES STEPPING PAST BOUNDARIES AND BEING A TOTAL SLEEZEBAG!" Mondo stood up straight and turned to Taka, the lady was obviously faking her tears, because the second Mondo turned around, boom. She was fine and maniacally smiling as she had just stolen candy from a baby. Mondo narrowed his eyes. " BE NICE! YOU COULD GET US BANNED " The lady interrupted him with a tap on the shoulder. He quickly turned around. " Sir, you can come with us if you are experiencing domestic violence. It seems your quote on quote, husband if that's what he really is, is abusing you. " Mondo had a look of disgust on his face. " I'm not abused! He's just protective. That's one of the things I love about my HUSBAND. my HUSBAND and I need to catch our flight. Please don't look there again please I guess. It's a trigger for apparently me and him. " The lady nodded and sighed, letting in more passengers. Taka looked up at Mondo with real tears in his eyes, tugging on Mondo's sleeve, trying to get his attention. Mondo looked down at him and picked him up, like a little toddler. Mondo cradled the boy in his arms. " I'm so so so sorry Mondo, I overreacted and I addressed her idiotically. But please don't be mad at me..." Mondo stepped onto the plane and put Taka down. " I'm not mad at you. I'm just kinda disappointed... I DONT want you to act like that. That was very embarrassing." Taka nodded, finally finding their seats in first class. "I'm so sorry" Taka pushed us head towards the window. " It's fine, just don't do it again. " Mondo pulled Taka's chin towards him. " I still love you." Mondo joked, but Taka really didn't see it as one. " Huh...I thought...I thought you would've always loved me,, no matter what.." Taka looked down. Mondo flinched. " That's not what I meant! It was just a joke. You know I'll always love you.." Mondo pulled Taka in for a hug,, that small hug sort of turned into a cuddle fight. Mondo kept trying to kiss Taka but the smaller male just kept screamin' " nO PDA ". Mondo just ended up putting Taka in a kind of headlock. " You can't escape my love. " Mondo held the smaller boy until another lady came onboard! She didn't seem to be suspicious, but Taka still felt skittish. She was a flight attendant telling them to please take their seats and to got get up until they were safe in the air. Mondo and Taka sat in their own seat, that were right next to each other. Mondo held his large hand out for Taka to hold. Taka looked up at Mondo and then back at his hand. He softly chuckled and put his hand in his Husbands. Mondo enclosed his fingers in Taka's and pulled out Taka's neck pillow, he looked like he was about to fall asleep. He slipped it under Taka's neck. " Babe, don't fall asleep just yet, let's at least get in the air. " Taka pushed his head into Mondo's lap. " Taka.. " Mondo put his head on the boys head. " Hm? " Taka popped his head up. " Nevermind, go back to sleep. " Mondo pushed Taka's head back down. " Can we at least get some drinks? " Mondo sighed, bro, we're not 20 yet. You have to be 20. " Taka shoved his head back down, Mondo could feel the boy's expression change. " I don't make the rules Taka. " Mondo thought for a moment. " I mean, we're kinda in Peru already and the legal age is 18,, soooo.." Mondo pushed a button on his seat to make one of the caterers come over to them.
