¹¹I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. “I am the good shepherd; ¹⁴I know my sheep and my sheep know me (John 10:11‭, ‬14 NIV).

Jesus claim himself as a good shepherd and we're the sheep. Jesus know us, and we must know Jesus too as the sheep.

Why He could to be called as the good shepherd? Because He already laid down his life to his sheep, to us. He giving us his life for us, for the sake of cleaning up our dirty man and we have new born.

Blows and wounds scrub away evil, and beatings purge the inmost being (Proverbs 20:30 NIV).

The devil can't take down His life, because He has an authority. Even before He died on the cross, He said:

Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last (Luke 23:46 NIV).

What is the characteristic of His sheep?

I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd (John 10:16 NIV).

I believe it's for us, whoever read this. The sheep will listen to Him. Can we hear His voice?

Exactly yes, through the word of God, situation around us, His prophet, natural disasters, and many things. What we must do now is be a good listener. We must sensitive to hear God voice at this crucial time. Amen.
