Emiya: so the starting tier for newbies are Flint Tier? Which involves mostly slime clearing and simple day to day chores?

Maya: mhm!

Maya, the Guildmarm nodded with a big smile on her face.

Emiya: well then, I'll take this.

I pulled a poster for hunting down a pack of Duwa-Wolves. And to my amusement, the look of amusement left her face and is replaced by the look of fear and worry.

Maya: a-are you sure?! Those things can decimate a full team of ten! Veterans too!

I just smiled and patted her head... Why? Cause she's a Dog Girl... Literally, she has cute flabby dog ears and a straight brown tail full of worry.

Emiya: don't worry, I'll be fine.

She pouted.

Maya: they all say that! And if they do come back, they are full of bruises! Or worse!

I shook my head and sighed.

Emiya: just believe in me alright? Plus, the amount of gold I receive, I'll donate to the Library part of the Guild... The place can really use some renovations...

She was about to say something but puts her hand down.

Maya: you... You have a point there.. but still! You may look tough! But you don't know what they can do!

I sighed and lowered my head... She's two heads shorter than me... Seriously.... If compare to Rin, she'd be slighter just on Rin's chin.

Maya: mou... Fine! And if you get hurt! Don't blame the Guild for warning you!

She huffed and returned to her duties as the Receptionist, however. While walking away, I heard some adventurers doubting me.

I don't mind, but since Zelretch did say this would be a somewhat of a vacation... I'd rather enjoy the little things in it than stay all moody and broody.

Time skip 3rd Pov

Maya: Seriously... That man just want to show off... Many newbies do so and well...

Aya: Maya, listen. I don't know how long you two met but knowing what he did to help you... Put a little bit of faith in him.

Aya, one of the other Guildmarms, also Maya's colleague who came from the North. She has pale skin and red eyes, with fang like teeth instead of normal ones. She is also covered in thick white fur, to help her keep warm in the harsher and colder climates of the north... She's a Yeti.

Maya: I mean.. saving me from a group of men was surely a show of strength but the Duwa-Wolves are different.

Aya: Hm... True, but he did hand them their asses without a sweat from last night.

Maya: fine... Let's just hope he doesn't get seriously injured.

Suddenly... The door to the Guild opened, and a large bloody sack was thrown in.

Random: What the fuck?!

Random2: Is... Is that a dead body?!

Random3: Hey! Someone call the enforcement!!

Emiya then walks in like nothing has happened.

Emiya: oh... I thought you're at break right now, I was planning on waiting outside but the amount of people staring at my sack was getting inconvenient.

Maya: E... Emiya-san? What's in the bag?

He raised a brow.

Emiya: Duwa-Wolves... Actually their Alpha, since reading the even finer print on the paper... It specifically asked for an Alpha also.
