Maya Pov

Maya: Where am I? What is this place?why is it so dark?

???: Please be alive! Please be alive!

A man? What's he doing? Why is he digging up rubble?

Maya: hello? Can you hear me?

The man stopped digging and reached out under the rubble.

Maya: why am I seeing this? What is this anyway?

???: Thank goodness you're alive...

Maya: Wait... Is he crying? Why would he be crying?

I moved closer towards him, maybe I could try and console him.

I reached out for him when I saw the reason why he was crying. It was a boy with Auburn hair and Golden dead orbs... But the boy is breathing, shallow but still breathing.

That is when I touched the man... My surroundings illuminated. Revealing a land burned to the ground, with dead people frozen in the act of searching for help.

???: Maya? Maya? Wake up?

Maya: wait! You can here me now?

I moved to face the man only for his face is blank.

???: Maya, wake up Maya!

AAHHH

???: Maya!? Are you alright?

I feel like I just got free from drowning, taking in heavy an deep breaths.

???: Maya?

I turned to my left and found Emiya looking at me worried.

Emiya: *sigh* did you have a nightmare?

He then hugged me... Why? But also, why are my cheeks wet?

I lifted a hand to my cheeks and felt tears streaming down.

Maya: huh... Why am I crying?

Emiya: shh, it's probably from your nightmare. Don't worry... I'm here still.

I returned the hug and we both stayed in the same position for the next two minutes.

Emiya: are you feeling ok now?

I broke out of our hug and nodded.

Maya: how... How long was I asleep?

Emiya: for a bout a day and a half, what happened the day before yesterday took a lot out of you, you just suddenly blacked out all of the sudden.

I nodded but... That dream... Why does it feel so... Vivid?

Emiya: here, you need to eat. I've made some soup for you.

I gently took the bowl out of his hands and stared at it.

Maya: Emiya.

Emiya: yes?

Maybe... No. It's probably nothing.

Maya: nevermind, where is Aya and Lily?

Emiya: Aya is helping with rebuilding the Guild, while Lily... Well, she said she's going to go around helping locals.

Maya: I see.

I took a spoonful of soup into my mouth... It taste wonderful.

Emiya: anyway, you should rest more... You'll need it once you feel better.
