In the kitchen Clint stands next to Laura. Nat, Steve and Bruce sit at the table. Tony is leaning against the door. Petro, Bucky and Sam where left behind to look after the base. Vision, Petro and Bucky didn't want to come, and Sam doesn't trust Bucky. Peter stands looking out the window staring at the scorched path.  Wanda is standing next to the door that leads outside. she hears a creak and disappear into the hallway. She walks past the stairs and finds fury and Bea coming down the stairs.

"Bea! Oh my gosh. Are you ok? We have been so worried. I have been so worried. why did you leave?" Wanda shouts.

"I am ok. I needed to be with nature, and I didn't think I would be safe enough at the base. I just needed a break." Bea says.

Wanda let go of Bea. She then gathers herself and walks back into the kitchen as if she wants them to follow, they do so. 

"Bea you are ok!" Clint hugs her. Wanda and Clint go back to their places, Bea follows Clint and sits on top on the counter next to Laura after hugging her. Fury sits at the table.

"you scared us so much." Laura says to bea as they break from their hug.

"I'm so sorry. I saw Lila and I'm so happy she is safe. I have no idea why she would come so close to me."

"she says it was the crystal you gave her."

"Laura if I had known that would have made her do that I would of never of given it to her. I am so sorry."

"it's ok. She's safe and your safe. No one was hurt. That is what counts. Nothing bad happened again."

"again? What do you mean by again?" Steve asks looking around sternly.

"this has happened before?" Tony asks.

"the weird thing about going on fire and covered in gloop." Peter asks.

"yes, it has." They all spin around towards Fury. "It happens every 4 years. She triggered it when she was younger and nothing really serious has happened."

"except for my birthday." Bea says quietly. Laura hears and squeezes her arm lightly.

"it comes every 4 years. For a year." Fury says.

"how does it happen?" tony asks.

"that is a little harder to explain." Fury says. He looks at Bea and she continues to explain.

"I triggered it when I was four. Nothing horrible has happened since I was young, unless you come near me."

"but Lila wasn't harmed." Nat says.

"that is because she was wearing a crystal."

"one from." Wanda says.

"yes."

"where?" Bruce asks.

"it doesn't matter." Clint says

"the crystal protected her and did not burn her."

"burn? What do you mean by burn?"

"peter." Tony says trying to interject or shut him up.

"what? Yes Mr Stark. Oh ok." They all chuckle.

"yes, burn. The whole idea of me going through that is so I can become pure again. I get cleansed from all the dark things."

"peter that's your third yawn in the last five minutes. maybe you should go head to bed. Peter."

"oh but."

"peter."

"fine. Night guys."

Everyone says night.

"the fire. At your house you were interrupted." Bruce says.

"yes, I lost my house and my mother."

"oh damn."  He replies.

"so, you are dangerous." Tony says.

"no, she is not. It was a onetime thing and ever since she has been held at SHEILD for that year."

"why didn't you hold her this year." Wanda asks.

"they normally happen on my birthday and for a couple months afterwards, but they hadn't been happening."

"So, Nick thought it would be ok to let me stay with you guys. You have everything you need but I guess with me deleting the file you had no idea about this. Sorry again." Bea says.

"so, when it is the year you turn into the flaming gloopy monster. "

"yep"

"wow" Bruce says.

"what's it like?" peter asks as he pops his head in.

"you are supposed to be asleep." Tony says. Marching his way towards Peter.

"sorry I just wanted to hear what was happening." Peter says as he dodges Tony. Tony starts chasing him around the sofa. "Will you stop chasing me."

"when you stop running away." Tony says out of breath. He grabs the hold of peter shirt and pulls on it his shirt rips and exposes peters ripped torso.

"damn." Bea whispers. Laura and Wanda hear and look at her and chuckle.

Peter stops. He smirks at Bea.

"I am not going to say a word I will just sit here and listen." Peter says as he sits.

He stares directly at Bea as he listens to her speak about her powers. Aww written all over his face.

"what time is it?" Steve asks as he starts to nod off.

"1:34am" Clint answers. "right everyone go to bed."

"yes mum." Tony says.

We all head to bed. Wanda shares a room with me along with Nat. Wanda and Bea have the bed, Nat sleeps on the window side.

"Bea?"

"yes Wanda."

"you know Peter has a thing for you."

"what?"

"yeah. It is very obvious."

"no, he doesn't."

"he does he would not shut up about you when we were at the base."

"huh. Well I don't know him."

"but you could."

"Wanda stop it he doesn't like me."

"ok maybe he doesn't but you sure do."

"like you and Vision."

"what do you mean."

"I mean you and vision you too are love birds."

"no, we aren't."

"uh huh."

"shut up." Wanda starts to hit Bea with her pillow.

"shhh. You are going to wake Nat. she will kill us."

"I'm already awake. I haven't even been asleep." She says giving the other two a fright. "night love birds." She says after rolling over. 

The next morning, we all leave to go back to the base, I say my goodbyes.

It has been a while and I haven't lost control or gone into the other dimension. We are back home. All except Thor, he is off world, Clint, he's back home and Tony he is with Pepper.

It has been strangely quiet around the base. Koda was very happy to see me when I got back. Apparently, everyone had taken turns to walk him. It is strange to think that everyone sees Koda as their pet now. I saved him, nurtured him but I did leave him. I try to walk him every day but most days Sam, Bucky, Steve or Petro have taken him. Koda is fast for a dog, I guess he has been hanging out with me too much.
