Bea. (an Avengers fanfic)

swimming part 1

"hey peter." Steve says as he walks by heading towards the kitchen. I follow as I am knocked out of my daydream. "what are you doing here? you know Tony is with Pepper."

"yeah I know. I'm actually here to see Bea." Steve turns around and raises him eyebrows. "well not just Bea. I came here to see all of you and of course Koda."

"uh huh. And what will you do with Bea and Koda?"

"I don't know stuff."

"stuff?" he says walking towards me.

I start to panic and stumble over my words. "not stuff just hanging out you know."

"in her room?"

"yes."

"who is in who's room?" Bucky says.

"no." I say realising what Steve just said.

"no?"

"Bea is hanging with Peter in her room today."

"oh really."

"yes. Well no it doesn't have to be her room."

"hmm and where does it have to be."

"uhh we are just going to the dam."

"the dam?"

"yeah Wanda and Petro are coming with."

"huh you sure."

"yeah."

"hey Peter." Bea says as she comes around in a blue short and a camo tank top. Her hair straightened. The light hits her hair for a moment, and it looks to be on fire.

"h-hey Bea." I say stumbling over my words trying to gather myself and act natural.

"you ready?"

"yeah."

"have you finished all your work?" Steve asks.

"yes. I have."

"work?" I ask confused.

"Bea is doing online school."

"really? Why don't you just go to school?"

"I was expelled from my last 4 schools. So, Nick started home-schooling me and then he was never around, and these two's methods and teaching are a bit old, so I take online classes."

"old?"

"glad that's done. let's go."

"be safe." Bucky and Steve call after them.

"yes mum. Yes dad." She says laughing.

We walk away from them and I can hear Bucky say, "who is the mum."

"it's not me. You have the hair." Steve answers.

"hey." Bucky says annoyed.

We leave the base and walk towards the lake and the dam. There is silence between us for a while, but it is not awkward or weird it is comfortable.

"Petro and Wanda are meeting us there. Come on we don't want to keep them waiting." She says suddenly running away through the trees. I follow her. Her hair keeps her in sight. We eventually hit the dam a large wall reaching to the top.

"now what."

"now we climb."

"what?"

Without another word Bea starts to climb up the wall. Her feet and hands find holds so easy it is as if they know the root. She has probably done this a thousand times. But damn she looks good. I start to follow but use my web to help me stick and as I climb, I climb straight past her.

"I'm winning" I call down.

"cheat."

I laugh. Suddenly I hear Bea scream I look down and she is no-where to be seen. "Bea! Where are you." I start to climb down, but she is no-where to be seen.

"you are so gullible." Looking up I see her at the top. Hanging off a branch. "looks like I win." She says with a smile. I scramble to the top. "I thought you were hurt."

"nope. Just had a helping hand." She turns and Wanda and Petro and standing there waving and laughing.

"look who is the cheat now."

"I learn from the best." She says nudging me.

"aww thanks."

"not you. Loki."

"ahh ok."

"come on love birds" Wanda says.

We continue walking. Through trees. Over rocks and through streams. We eventually get to the waterfall.

"Wow."

"yep. It is good. But is it safe?"

We all jump and turn finding Thor and Loki.

"oh, who cares brother."

"Thor." Bea says running up and hugging him. "I missed you. Is Loki with you."

"no, he isn't. He is back on Asgard." Thor says "so, this is the Midgardian that you have your eyes on"

"shut up." she says as she turns ours eyes connect, and I smirk at her. Behind him I see Steve, Bucky and Vision all of them are in casual clothes. "what are you guys doing here?" she asks.

"well I was invited, and the others followed me."
