"Anna, wake up!" my mom said, trying to wake me up from my deep sleep.
"Yes, mom I'm waking up!" I said.
I stretched, stood up and took my towel from the stand and carried it all the way down the stairs to eat breakfast my mom made.
"Eat well, sweetie. Good morning!" She said.
"Thank you, Mom!" I replied.
She's really sweet and nothing can ever live up to that. She does this everyday for me. I just really love my mom because at such a very young age, she has taught me a lot of things.
"You coming with Jake today?"
"Yes, mom. You coming?"
"Of course, I wouldn't miss your first day at your new school!"
"Awe mom, you're the best!"
"Okay, eat your breakfast then go take a bath!"
I just finished eating my cereals and as I did, I heard a knock on the door.
It was Jake and his mom.
"You ready?"
"Well, no. I just finished my breakfast."
"Okay, go take a bath and we will wait for you."
"That's so sweet of you! By the way, good morning!"
I ran to the bathroom and took a bath and prepped myself for the rest of the day, I put my hair into a ponytail and swooshed off to school with my mom, Jake, and Jake's mom.
"So glad that the both of you are classmates." My mom said.
"I am too, Mrs. Clump! I'm so happy to be Anna's friend." Jake said.
I just stayed silent the whole time because I was listening to their conversation.
We pulled up to the gates of the school.
"Bye mom!" Jake and I both said.
"Bye kids!"
Jake and I helped each other to find our classroom.
"That's Room 102! Let's go!" He said, grabbing my hand.
We went inside the room and find our seats. It is our first day of course we can choose wherever we want to sit.
Jake found us a spot where we can seat next to each other and we sat immediately before it was taken away by other kids our age.
I was listening to my teacher while she was discussing something about how to read and then I just listened to her the whole time.
"Okay class, recess time!" She said. Finally, I can eat my food!
Everyone took out their recess foods and Jake brought a skinned shrimp, making it ready-to-eat one, and I just felt itch everywhere.
"Jake, I don't feel so well." I said, looking at Jake, who just munched his first bite.
"You're turning red! Oh my god, what do we do? Are you allergic of something?!" He panicked, and stood up.
"Yes. Shrimps." I answered while itching my whole body.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know that you were allergic. I didn't know mom sent me to school and gave me shrimp for recess." He explained.
"Stop itching your skin, you might get a wound after your allergy attack." He added.
I tried to stay calm and thank God it worked. I don't know what to do if it didn't work.
After all the classes, Jake & I walked home for the first time. He walked me to the front of my house and I waved goodbye.
I wrote everything on my diary and slept.
