26: Approval

Bakugo POV

It's two weeks before Izuku has to leave for the awards show thing in America. Right now I'm laying on my bed with my arm over my face having an internal conflict with myself that I have been having for a while.

I've been thinking it over for a while now. Should I actually ask Izuku to be my boyfriend? When I kissed him he didn't exactly have a reaction, but he told me he didn't mind it. So does that mean he likes me? I know if I ask him I'll have to get the other members of his group to let me since they are so fucking overprotective of him. I don't know what to fucking do. He leaves in like 2 weeks and I've been debating this whole thing for longer than I care to think about, but I think it has to be now. I have to ask them before they leave. Then I'll deal with asking Izuku.

I got out of bed and grabbed my phone from my nightstand and opened my contact list. I scrolled down to the R's and found the contact "Ryo". I stared at it for probably 5 minutes trying to play what I wanted to say in my head. I had never called him before but each of the members had given me their numbers when I first started to hang out with Izuku probably to be an emergency contact or extra way of reaching Izuku if he didn't answer his phone or their texts. He had the habit of not answering back to the member texts so they usually called him or texted me to get to him. To be honest it was really fucking annoying.

I came back to my senses when I realized I had the phone to my ear and I heard Ryo say hello from the other line. I didn't even realize I had pressed call! What do I fucking do now? I guess I have to ask as I don't want to be fucking rude to him. "Umm... Hi... This is Bakugo." I said hesitantly. Jeez, what is fucking wrong with me? I never get this fucking nervous. Maybe the nerd really is rubbing off on me.

Ryo POV

I was sitting on the couch reading my book and listening to Makoto hyung yell at the computer as he tried to fight the boss of his Maple Story game. The group was having a day off so we all stayed in and were relaxing in the dorms. As I was finishing the page I heard my phone ring. I picked it up and looked at the ID. 'Bakugo Katsuki' I wonder why Izukus friend is calling me. Well, Izu has been busy these last couple of months has gone to see his friends as often so that might be the reason. I closed my book after saving my spot and swiped to answer the call.

I didn't hear anything on the other end so I said Hello in hopes of a response. I did get a response but It seems hesitant and startled, "Umm... Hi... This is Bakugo" "Yes, are you call to see if you can hangout Izuku?" I asked politely. While all 6 of us were overprotective of Izuku, especially when it came to Bakugo since Izu had a crush on him, I was probably the most level-headed and easiest to talk to.

"Umm no actually I call because I wanted to talk to you and the others about something regarding Izuku." I was curious now, "Can we meet up somewhere?" I was quite interested and curious as to what he wants to meet up about especially if it was about our youngest. "Well, it's 11 right now so if I can get Izuku out of the house you can come in the next hour." "Alright, that sounds like a good idea. Thank you Ryo and please don't tell Izuku about this." "Sure thing Bakugo." I hung up after that put my phone down.

I sat there thinking about what he could possibly want to talk about without Izu's knowledge. Not only that how am I going to get Izuku out of the house and the other reasonably sound enough to even allow Bakugo to talk to them about Izu. Makoto hyung and Daisuke were probably the most overprotective of Izu because of the knowledge of past bullying and the whole dating rumor thing a while back.

"So what did Bakugo want?" a voice said behind me. "Ahhh!" I turned to see Makoto hyung looking at me with his paused game. "Hyung don't scare me like that!" I exclaimed. "And as you should know Bakugo wants to meet up and discuss something with us about Izu," I said trying to catch my breath. "Oh? About what?" he asked. "I don't know. But I have to get Izu out of the house." "Why don't you have Hiroshi take him out for a lunch. They are the closest and have been talking about going out for lunch together for a while." Makoto said. "Ok. I'll go talk to Hiroshi."
