Y/N WOKE UP in a different bed, not the bed she was cuddled up with Mattia, a cold and hard bed.

Yes she did miss all the memories and all the care she recieved from the boys, and maybe the moment with Mattia in the car, but they were both vulnerable and hurting looking for a way to take their mind off everything.

"What am I supposed to write on this fucking letter?" Mattia shouts at Kairi as they are standing at the dinner table staring at the pen and paper in front of him.

"I don't know, tell her how you feel, if you miss her, ask her something maybe she will be able to send something back" Kairi suggested.

Kairi went significantly downhill, the night everything happened he smoked so much he was starting to hallucinate (a/n weed probs dont do that to u but go w the flow ma'am nothing makes sense in my book) So he was slurring his words quite a lot and Mattia realised this.

"Kairi?" Mattia said looking up at his bloodshot red eyes.

"Hm?" he asked lifting his almost closed eyes.

"Go to sleep, I'll find out what to write" Mattia said slightly smiling. He realised he was smiling and instantly stopped.

Kairi nodded and made his way to his room to obviously continue smoking.

"KAIIRIIII, SLEEP ON THE COUCH" Mattia yelled before he was able to go into his room. Mattia wanted to be able to see him actually sleep.

Kairi huffed but flooped himself on the couch and started snoring immediately.

Mattia chuckled and turned back to the pen and paper and started writing.(a/n fmllll i realised i wrote this part in italics i hate myself bye-)

All I wanted to say is I hate you, you left me, just like that, you fucking lying bitch. All you do is fucking lie, I wish I never met you, I wish I was never put as your cellmate. I loved you so much and you gave up on me, all I wanted to do was protect you and be around you because I wanted you to be mine Y/n, Shit I even thought about how it would feel to be married even if we were never anything I still had feelings for you, guess they weren't the same for you, I can't force you tho.  If you are able to send a letter back... Don't. Fuck you Y/n, I thought you were my everything, I guess I was your nothing.

By this point his mood changed completely, the pen was so pressed into the paper it almost ripped it, tears were falling onto the paper making some of the ink slightly smudge around, it was still readable.

Mattia put the piece of paper in an envelope and put it in the post (a/n idk how american post works) so the post man can pick it up.

"Miss you have a letter" The guard said as he opened the gated door and handing her an envelope.

She was confused but took it and opened it.
She read it, sobbing at every word. She knew he didn't mean it right?

Y/n stop crying, I told you It'll destroy him, you didn't listen.

All I wanted was for him to be okay, for him to have a better life without me and you. He cared too much, It was getting in his way.

Are you hearing yourself? You turned yourself in because he loves you?

Yes. He has to learn to be by himself, he can't get attached to me.

Y/n was sobbing and brushing endless hands through her hair while Mattia was watching Kairi sleep on the couch, which was probably Kairi's only normal sleep in a few weeks.
