MATTIA SNIFFLED TRYING to catch his breath sitting in the chair in front of his father's casket.

He couldn't handle the sight of everything that was happening, it was all too intense for him at that moment so he left the room.

"It's gonna be okay Mattia" Y/n said playing with his hair as he was laying his head in her lap crying, a thing he has been doing for the past week after his father died. He couldn't finish any deal without breaking down or starting to cry in front of the person he was dealing with.

The thing is he wasn't angry, or mad, he was sad and almost depressed, if you were talking to him sometimes he would not answer you, he was so much in his thoughts he would forget to do the simplest things like turning off the heat after cooking. Yeah, Y/n is doing the cooking now.

If he could he would stay in her lap forever hearing her saying things that she thought made him feel better because it kind of did even though nothing could bring his father back.

Y/n tries to slide herself from under his head to go make some food but he grips onto her legs before she could leave.

"I have to cook" She says sitting back down and looking into his eyes.

He sighs "im coming" and lets her get up.

Meanwhile she was cooking the chicken Mattia got a phone call, he stepped away from the area but not out of the kitchen.

"We got another deal for tomorrow" He says hanging up the phone and coming close again.

Y/n nods and plates the food passing him one letting him eat. She put the rest in the fridge for the others to eat.

While Y/n gets the couch ready for her to sleep she grabs a few of her clothes and goes up to the bathroom to take a shower but before she could enter Mattia is behind her "Can I come?" He asks.

She looks up at him confused but he just looks back at her "Ill sit on the toilet" and pouts.

She sighs and opens the door for him. The girl hops in the shower with her clothes on and takes them off after drawing the curtain so the view would be blocked.

Mattia could be heard playing on his phone so she just started showering.

Y/n took off to the couch to sleep after checking up on Dante but Mattia had other plans "Sleep with me" He says hugging her.

"Mattia, you're gonna be fine" She sighed.

He gave her those puppy eyes again and she finally agreed.

Mattia smiled and threw her over his shoulder running up to the room and getting under the covers immediately engulfing her with his body in a cuddle.
