"Turn around, side profile" the deep and monotone voice of the cop instructs the young and scared girl, holding the sign with her name, age, height and serial number.
It read,
Y/n Mateya Rosario
15 years old
5"3
291084"Thank you, now you can exit and you will be met with someone who will give you your clothes and neccessites" The voice informs once again.
She obeyed and left the sign on the table, turning the doorknob and pushing the door to exit the room.
The clothes were harshly thrown into her arms and handed a small bucket of soap and other things like pads and neccessities.
"You will have a appointment with a therapist and a lawyer tommorow" the female cop said looking down on the girl.
"what's a therapist for" she asked quietly as she avoided eye contact with the guard, and looked straight ahead.
"Assesing mental state, do you have any mental disabilities or disorders you know of?" She asked.
"No"
The guard nodded and signaled for y/n to follow behind her.
The dull and dark hallways were filled with silence, complete silence.
Scraped and grey walls surrounded them and the feeling of lost hope, clueless family and constant thought of a ruined future because of her criminal record clouded her head.
The taller guard reached a stop and opened the steel door.
Y/n peeks her head through the door and spots a small and petite figure sleeping on the bed on the left. A girl.
"This is your room, the bathroom is there" she pointed to the bathroom and closed the door, slightly slamming it and locking it.
The smaller girl jumped at the sound and begged that the girl didn't wake up, she didn't want to deal with another unwanted encounter now.
She let out a small sigh when he turned around in his bed now facing the wall.
Her body immediately collapsed onto the uncomfortable bed and tried falling asleep as it was night, the same night.
However, her mind had other plans. All of her thoughts about the failure she will become and the long 2 years ahead of her, if she was found guilty.
She hoped that they found her innocent, and that the lawyer tommorrow would help her and get her out of here as fast as possible.
And the therapist? She knew she wasn't crazy, only moody sometimes and she is going to prove that tomorrow.
Y/n had moments where she would forget what happened in flashbacks of her past, she would forget people and was told she was rude and cruel. Once she even woke up in her kitchen with a knife in her hands, confused of what happened, with the biggest headache ever.
But she was the nicest person ever, couldn't hurt a fly. Right?
Her eyes slowly got heavier indicating she was falling asleep, and with that everything went black.

"Y/n please stop threatening and swearing, It's not helping your case" The calm and low voice of the female on the couch in front of Y/n said.
Y/n started blinking and placing a hand of her forehead from the excruciating headache she had, similar to the night she woke up in the kitchen.
"Who are you?" Y/n asked confused at the person female in front of her holding a binder and ruffling through the sheets, noting stuff down after hearing her question.
"You don't remember who I am?" the female asks looking at the younger girl then at the piece of paper in fromt of her and lowering her glasses.
"No, am I supposed to" Y/n asked rubbing her eyes from how tired she was.
"Interesting, Im your therapist and here to assess your mental state" she explains.
"oh, cool" she answeres leaning back in the comfortable couch.
"Y/n why did you commit the crime?" the therapist questions crossing her legs and fixing her full attention on the teenager in front of her.
"Uh, I didn't do anything, I was handed a bag an-and I was caught up in it, I had initially left the house for a walk" Y/n explains.
"Do you know what Dissociative Identity Disorder is?" the therapist asks.
"Uh, is it to do with multiple personalities or something?" The girl guesses.
The therapist shifts in her seat and says "Sufferers routinely cycle through their personalities, and can remain as one identity for hours or for years. They can switch identities at any time and without warning"
"Im not crazy"
"I know you aren't Y/n, but you can't be trusted and they already found you guilty, you confessed, you said ' yes I did it you motherfuckers, is there a problem?'"
" WHAT" y/n shouts, "NO I DIDN'T, I DON'T REMEMBER SAYING THAT" the girl screams starting a tantrum.
She was escorted out of the room, and into another one, it wasn't the previous room, it was another one.
"This is where you are staying now" the guard says and throws her inside immediately closing the door as if she was a dangerous animal.
Y/n turns her head around and sees a tall and bluff boy with fluffy and black hair, parted. He was reading a book.
At that moment she thought he was attractive, his tanktop complimented his features.
"Staring is rude you know" The boy speaks up.
She scoffs and plops herself onto the bed "What Disorder do you have" he asks still looking into his book, flipping the page.
"What?" she asks turning her head into his direction.
"crazy people stay with crazy people, now what disorder do you have?" He asks again.
"Dissociative Identity Disorder apparently, what about you?" she questions.
"Schizoaffective Disorder" He responds.
"So you're talking to yourself" y/n states.
"Rude, which one of your identities is that?" He asks sarcastically.
"So" she says changing the subject, after all she had to be civil with him "what's your name?"
"Mattia"
