Gil and the rest stepped in the adventurer's guild
The adventurers stares at them and began to chat amongst themselves
New Adventurer-"hey, why is everyone talking about these guys?"
Adventurer 1-"have you been loving under a rock?! they are the new S rank party Golden Dawn, led by the most powerful S rank adventurer, KING!"
Adventurer 2-"yeah, and rumors say he granted his party members immense power after they joined"
Female Adventurer 1-"MARRY ME!!!!"
They look at Ren
Adventurer 4-"that's REAPER, the main damage dealer besides KING in Golden Dawn, and also the most powerful assassin in the whole kingdom!"
Adventurer 3-"holy shit!"
Female Adventurer 2-"go out with me! Ren-sama~"
After that is Shirou
Adventurer 1-"thats LEVIATHAN, one of the strongest water mage and martial artist there is"
Last but not least, August
Adventurer 1-"August, the only S rank adventurer whoes identity is released to the public, his code name is 'KING OF KNIGHTS', wana know why? His sword skill is unmatched, and also his sword of light, Caliburn can even cut through dragon scales like butter!"
New adventurer-"so basically everyone who joins his party gets a legendary class magical weapon?"
Adventurer 1-"Don't be so naive kid, ever since the guild master released information about them, hundreds of adventurers asked to join his party, and guess what? They all got rejected! Some even tried to buy one of his weapons, even the guild master wasn't able to purchase one!"
Gil sneered at their comments
His mind-"Hmph, the only reason I agreed to rank up was......."
Flashback to 6 days ago......
Gil-"sorry but, I don't see the reason for me to rank up. Being S rank means I need to take orders from the other nobles, correct?"
Guild master-"no no, quite the opposite actually. Being an S rank adventurer means you do not have to attend mandatory raids like the goblin attack, also no matter how hard nobles try, they couldn't force you to do anything!"
Gil-"hmmmm.......sounds good to me. How about you all?"
The rest of the party nodded in agreement
Guild master-"alright then, from this moment on, you are all S rank adventurers!"
Flashback end
Ren goes up to receptionist
"Hey, where's our share of rewards for the dragon? It's supposed to come today, right?!"
Receptionist-"a-Ah yes, it is right here, Ren-sama! It's a total of 1,000,000 golden coins!"
She gives Ren a dimensional ring
The entire guild hall gasps
Ren smirks" haha! This is why I joined this party! Boss, mind doing the math?"
Gil pulls out a calculator from the gate
"That's.......250,000 for the each of us"
He gave each members a dimensional ring and transferred 250,000 golden coins to each of them
Shirou-"wait a minute, didn't you do the most work? Why are we getting the same share?"
Ren-"thats right! You finished the dragon off, you should be keeping 2/3 of the money, 100,000 is good for me, boss!"
August-"same here!"
Gil chuckles
"Come on guys, I don't mind it. We all did our fair share of work, didn't we? Just take your money, alright?"
Shirou-"if you say so, Gil"
Ren-"well, if you insist!"
After they exit the guild hall, an elven servant came to greet them
"Greetings, Mr. Phenex. Would you mind coming with me? Hime-sama wishes to see you"
Gil-"hoh? Why does the elven royal princess want to meet with the lil ol' me?"
Servant-"surely your jest, becoming an S ranker in 3 weeks is no 'little' feat"
Gil-"Hmm, alright then. Lead the way"
