Why do other writers take up a chapter for polls? It just doesn't make sense! I've seen a DxD story with 54 parts, and about 40 of them are all polls and author's notes! When I see a story with 54 parts, I EXPECT AT LEAST 50 CHAPTERS

Anyways, let's get this chapter started~

Tiona comes into the room
"Awww no fair Gil! She got laid before I did!"
Gil-"W....wait, I can do you later, just let my genitals take a day off"
Tiona-"fiiinnnnneeee~"
Gil got up and put the blanket over the sleeping Mordred and exited the bedroom
"Well, thst was.....unexpected"

At this moment, Ren, Shirou, and August bursted into Gil's house
Ren-"Boss! *pant* *pant* something major is *pant* happening!"
Gil-"Calm yourselves, mongrels."
He waited for them to calm down
"Good, now tell me what's happening"
Shirou-"Sora is going to the holy sword trial"
Gil-"The holy sword trial?"
August-"once every millennia, the holy sword durandal and the demonic sword Lucifer will awaken. The destined hero is in possession of the Durandal while the king of the demon race possesses Lucifer, the two are destined to fight to the death no matter how hard they try to avoid that fate"
Ren-"On top of that, I heard these swords grant the users a massive power boost. If a Hikari manages to get his hand s on thst weapon, I....don't know if we can defeat him"

Gil-"The holy sword durandal?"
*Takes out Durandal*
"How dare they mimic one of my treasures?!"
Gil-"Do not fret, I don't believe the powers of durandal exceeds that of Caliburn. In fact, it is inferior"
He smirks
"And plus, I don't think mongrels such as that Hikari brat is even worthy of such sword"

Ren-"then what will we do?"
Gil-"lets go observe them, I want to see the look on his face when he isn't chosen. FUHAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Ren/Shirou/August-"😅"
Ren-"Boss is still boss"
August-"*sigh* he never changes, does he?"

Gil-"I couldn't care less about Durandal but.....the demonic sword Lucifer does pique my interest. Meh, I will just kill the demon king and take the sword for myself"

Gil goes outside of the mansion and takes out Vimana
"We need to hurry. You know where the holy sword is at, yes?"
August-"indeed, it is on the top of the mountain over there"
He points to a colossal mountain outside the town
"Sora and the rest of the summoned heroes should be half way there"

Gil put both of his hands on the arms of the throne, the Vimana blasts off

When they landed, they see Hikari and the rest of the so called heroes at the trial. Hikari is right in front of the the Durandal
Priest-"Now, o chosen one, break the holy sword out of its seal and fulfill your destiny!"
Hikari nodded and reached for the blade, he desperately tries to pull it out but the blade doesn't respond to him
He tries again, the sword is still firmly attached to the ground
Hikari-"why....WHY?! I AM THE CHOSEN ONE AREN'T I?! WHY ISNT THE BLADE RESPONDING TO ME?!"
Priest-"I-I do not know..."

Gil:

"Hehehehehehahahaha.....HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! How pathetic of you, Sora Hikari"

Sora-"G-Gilgamesh!"
Gil and his party revealed themselves
Gil-"you couldn't even pick up a sword. I even almost pity you"
He grips the holy sword and pulls it out with ease
Gil starts to play around with the "Durandal"
"Imagine if the words got out 'The Chosen Hero Failed to Pick Up the Holy Sword' , how amusing would it be?"

Gil's party couldn't hold back anymore and starts to laugh at Hikari
Gil-"I don't have any use for the blade so....Ren, catch!"
Ren caught the blade and swung it around
Ren-"I'm so keeping it"

Priesr-"W-wait! You are the chosen one! You have a duty to fuf-"
Gil-"Shut your filthy mouth before I do it for you, mongrel!"
The priest immediate shuts up
"Our business is done here, we will be taking our leave now"

Gil puts the Vimana away and opens up a gate, the entire group walks through it. The gate dissapeared
Hikari slams his fist onto the ground
"DAMN IT! DAMN IT! DAMN IT ALL! I tried my best to become a hero, and what did he do? NOTHING! HE DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AND GOT SO MUCH MORE!! WHY?! WHY??!!"
