Wyatt's POV
I'd gone to Seabrook a few times before this, but the town was nothing like it was now. Both zombies and humans were running through the streets, each going different directions. Every time before the zombies had been confined to their own side of town, while the humans were free on the other.
I paused when I saw a cart full of tasty looking stuff sitting inside. A sign on the side of the cart read 'Froyo'. I didn't know what it was, but it looked good. I was about to ask the man wearing a matching froyo apron what it was but closed the top of the cart quickly.
"Woah, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. We're closed," the man waved his hand at me, "For good. Dreams of froyo success melted away, with monsters everywhere. Look, I like zombies. They like froyo. But werewolves like human flesh! Maybe with sprinkles! Everyone likes sprinkles," the man was starting to get riled up now. He ran to the other side of the cart where the handles where. "Run! High knees! Run!" He took off down the street, his froyo cart in front of him.
So that's why everyone was running around. The news must've spread about a werewolf sighting. I silently cursed Willa and her howling. I continued in the direction that I was originally going. I spotted a little zombie girl hammering a piece of paper into a wooden post. Curious, I stopped to see it.
"Have you seen a werewolf?" the girl turned and asked me, "I'm looking for a were-friend." I internally groaned. It seemed like everyone knew.
"Silly kid," I tried to convince the zombie, "There's no such thing as werewolves." The little girl frowned and looked up at me.
"But we heard it howl." she defended herself.
"Maybe it was a hiker saying 'howls it going'," I reasoned with the girl.
"It was a werewolf!" the little zombie raised her voice, then lowered it, suspicion creeping through, "My, what big eyes you have."
"Zoey! Come on!" her father, I'm presuming, called her. The girl ran to her house, glancing back one last time. I ripped the paper off the post and took it with me, through the hole in the fence and into the forest.

Witney's POV
Even though Wyatt was naturally quiet, I could sense him from yards away. I knew his scent like the back of my paw.
"He's back! Wolves!" I called, alerting Willa and the rest of the pack. They all came out from the den, just as Wyatt emerged from the trees in his Seabrook power outfit. He peeled the uniform off, handing it to one of the pack. He approached me first and I opened the box that held his moonstone, slipping it over his neck.
Weston, a member of our pack, pressed his beta markings onto his cheek. Wyatt turned to Willa, Wynter, and I, his fangs returning and his eyes glowing yellow.
"What did you find out?" Willa asked him.
"They saw you howling, Willa," he told her. "So?" she responded.
"We're exposed!" he held up a picture that someone had drawn, depicting what looked what was supposed to be us, but obviously wasn't. Willa clearly thought the same way I did.
"Ha," she laughed at the picture and took it from Wyatt. "Looks nothing like us, Wyatt. We have way better hair than that." I nodded my agreement.
"Stop being such a worry wolf, brother. I only said 'awooo'. It's like saying ciao, or aloha, or 'I'll rip your throat out'. Anyway, who cares what they think. It's a terrible town," Will tried to close the conversation. Wyatt persisted.
"We have to find the Great Alpha," Wyatt told her. "If there even is a Great Alpha," annoyance laced Willa's words.
"Willa! We saw her in the forest! She had the white hair," Wyatt said back. "Probably just the light!" The two siblings argued. "She's real. And she's going to lead us to the Moonstone. And you know we don't have much time. More and more of our pack are getting sick. Our necklaces are almost out of power. We need to find the Moonstone."
There was a short silence until Wynter broke it saying, "And when we do we can recharge our necklaces and live wolf strong for another one hundred years."
I expressed my likings with the rest of the pack. "Okay," Willa had calmed a bit, "Even if the girl is the Great Alpha, how do we find her?" Wyatt pulled a patch that read Seabrook High Cheer out of his pocket.
"I found this in the woods. It's hers," he told us. Wynter gasped beside me.
"We'll track her down with our keen sense of smell!" she exclaimed. Wyatt squinted his eyes, clearly noting Wynter's enthusiasm and trying not to break it.
"Says Seabrook High on it. So I thought we might just start there," Wyatt said.
Willa and I groaned. We both hated Seabrook. It was too preppy and pink and cheery. Not for me. "Okay, fine." Willa relented, "We find the girl, and if she's the Great Alpha, she'll tell us where the Moonstone is hidden."
I internally groaned. I hated Seabrook.
Wyatt grinned, clearly pleased. He didn't usually win over his sister. "We go in the morning," he announced to the pack.
Willa called over him, "We go tonight!" Wyatt looked down, "Or tonight."
"Awooo!" we all called.
Willa turned and went back into the den, the rest of the pack following her. I stayed behind and Wyatt fell into step next to me.
"Hey," I said, looking up to him, "I missed you." Wyatt grinned down at me.
"I was only gone for a few hours," he said. I stopped once we reached the edge of the den.
"I know, but I was worried about you. Those humans are dangerous! Not to mention they started letting zombies back into Seabrook. I didn't want you to get hurt." I told him, tugging his jacket playfully.
Wyatt chuckled. "I was careful, Wit. There was nothing to worry about." I sighed. It wasn't a secret that I disliked humans and especially Seabrook. Many of our pack did too. I mean, they drove us off our own land, forcing us to hide so that we wouldn't be killed.
"Hey," Wyatt noticed my wariness. "I know you don't want to go to Seabrook tonight. I don't really want to either. But we have to find the Moonstone, and I believe that that girl can lead us to it." I nodded and leaned my head onto Wyatt's shoulder. I barely reached.
"C'mon," Wyatt pulled me deeper into the den, "I know what'll cheer you up. Let's go tell the were pups stories before they go to bed. I know you love to." I smiled. Wyatt always knew how to comfort me.
