"Appa, why is Yoonji here? I though you said she was too small to be in here," asked a curious Taehyung. His other brothers didn't say anything but looked at me with that question in their eyes.
I grimaced. "The last babysitter quit when I left your sister with them. 'She was too much,' " I quoted.
We all looked at little Yoonji who was giggling to herself happily, ignoring everyone's stares. "You're right, I guess," concluded Jimin.
"Not fair!" whined Jungkook. "This is my second time in the studio, I'm five and she's two!"
I reached out and ruffled his hair. "That's because you're a good boy, Kookie. I could trust you with a babysitter. However Yoonji is a different story..."
"Huh? Where'd she go?" I said as I looked down to the spot where she was just a moment ago.
All of a sudden, we heard the sound of a piano blasting uncoordinated notes and I swiveled around to see my little girl standing on a seat while pressing random keys.
Everyone knows it's a death wish to stand on a spinning chair.
"Yoonji!" four voices called out at once.
Side thought: wow, we're so in sync.
Yoonji stopped banging on the keys and turned to grin at all of us. "Piano! Appa piano!" she screamed out.
I lunged forward and snatched (her weave SJSHHSJS) her off of the chair before she thought about anything else. As soon as her feet touched the floor, she took off running around the studio space.
"Maybe she'll be a music person like you one day, Appa," voiced Jimin.
"She likes pianos," chimed in Taehyung after his older twin.
I frowned and made her stop running by picking her up and putting her on my lap, held down by my arm. "She'll destroy the studio before she gets the chance to make a single beat," I exaggerated.
I faced the little one in my lap who was fighting to touch the piano. "So, what Yoonji? Will you be a musician like Appa?" I asked, looking into her feline eyes.
