[SEASON 1] Chapter One [Part Two]

"Hey, Josh. I got your message earlier. And I managed to get names."

"Lay them out."

"Well, we got two at least. Victims of the car crash. Ying Pengelly and Ivy Katerine Gabbot."

"Ying?"

"Yeah. His body was found. However, Ivy is indeed alive and we're taking her to a nearby hospital."

"Cool, what time can I drop by to talk?"

"Hey, let the cops do this."

"You stealing the thriller from me Jay?"

"Haha. But seriously though, Josh...me and the crew will handle this case. For now, just tell the news to your friends. Just for them to be alert."

"Alert about what?"

"Josh, this is a strange time for a car crash,even on the start of Halloween...I'll try my best to see if there is someone behind this or any possible counterpart. I'll see ya later."

Josh then sighed as he turned off his phone. He then looks Makenna.

*What's up?" She asks, in a small concerned tone.

"Just got the news Ying was dead."

She then gasps, covering her mouth.

"Y-Ying?!"

"Yeah, that's something..."

"We have to tell the others."

He nodded as they both ran to the lobby, where they found a concerned group of students on the couch. Blake then poked his head and saw the duo.

"Yo, dude! Jake's here!" Lewis spoke as he saw the two arrive.

"Where were you two?" Kismet asks.

"Josh..." Makenna then gestures to him.

He then sighs. "I'll admit, I did take my other cell with me, but without it...*sigh* I wouldn't get the news that Ying was killed."

This shocked everyone.

"No way...he did?!" Selena asks, clearly in a state of panic.

"Yeah. I got a call from a friend saying that he died in a car crash with some girl named...Ivy."

"Ivy? Wait, wasn't that Ying's ex?!" Jess asks, her eyes wide with fear.

"Ying's ex?" Jake asks. "You mean, Pengelly had hooked up with her?"

"Yeah, I was there when they broke up." Jess answers. "Why is she here at NYC?"

"Actually, why are we all here? Ying's not just gonna die that easily." Leena asks.

Everyone stood silent.

"I mean...we were invited here, right?" Lewis asked.

"But by who?" Blake asks.

That was when Josh heard a door slam, partnered with a lock click.

Everyone looked over at the man who just had let them in, lock the door. Jae, Blake, Jake and Josh ran to the door. All of them tried to bust it open.

"Hey asshole! Open up!" Jae yells.

Justin then looks around and see the garden. He runs for it before he stopped his tracks as he saw two shadow like figures at the distance. He then immediately ran back to the group.
