Chapter 13

Nine months have passed now Shawn and I are super steady in our relationship he graduated from university I'm so proud of him I got to attend his graduation which is great. I still work at Starbucks I'm loving it there I've managed to pay off everything since I moved out. Shawn's going to start looking for a job soon he says he wants to work at a music store with instruments since he knows about them now he's glad studying music has paid off for him. I'm glad with his decision he won't be moving out of Toronto at all which is great we won't be far away from each other at least. He says he loves Canada way too much it's his home. 

Since it's officially summer now Shawn, me Lily and Brian are all going to Kew beach today as a group it will be so fun. We do group dates once in a while still depending on our schedules Lily is going to meet me at my place first around 9:30 am I'm all dressed up already. Soon someone knocks at the door I check it's her then we wait for the guys to come. They'll be here around 10:00 am Shawn texts me. 

Shawn: Hey baby we're on the way now I'm so excited to go to the beach with you today since the weather has become great outside now :D. I also have a surprise for you later on ;). 

Michelle: Hi boo okay awesome see you very soon and woah cool I'm looking forward to it :D. 

I let Lily know the guys are on the way now she says that's great Brian also just texted her. I also tell her Shawn has a surprise for me later she gives me a smirk saying that guy sure will do anything for you I laugh saying yeah he does. Then someone knocks at the door I check it's Shawn opening it he looks amazing in a white short and black shorts. He says I look great in a tank top and jean shorts hugging me we won't kiss in front of our friends to be polite. 

Brian greets Lily also hugging her then we're off to the beach going to Shawn's jeep we put our stuff in back then get in I sit next to Shawn. Lily and Brian sit in the back cuddling each other Shawn kisses my hand saying he's glad we can do more outdoor stuff now I tell him yeah it is. Then he starts driving he puts his leg on mine at the red light as usual soon we arrive at Kew Beach it looks so beautiful the guys take the stuff out of the back passing some of the stuff to Lily and me we walk down to look for a spot to sit down at. At least it's empty today right now in the morning we lay out two blankets I sit with Shawn while the other couple are next to ours on theirs. 

Then Lily and I go to change into our swimsuits after we come out we go back to the guys finding the spot that's not too far away from the change rooms at least. I'm wearing a bikini so is Lily Shawn's eyes get wide at me since it's the first time he's seeing me more open now. When I sit down next to him he whispers in my ear saying I look very beautiful and sexy that he's glad I'm all his I say thank you to him he looks great in his swim trunks too. Shawn and I go out into the water for a little bit we put our heads under water for a little then he gives me a kiss after coming back up for air. We stay for a while in the water then go back out letting Brian and Lily have a turn in the water because someone has to watch all of our stuff. 

After they finish up in the water we decide to shower to get the smell of saltwater out lol. Once everyone's showered and changed clothing we go for lunch. We go to Beacher Café to have breakfast food it's so good then when we finish up Brian and Lily want to go back to her place. Shawn says he has a surprise for me so we drop them first back at the apartment and we go back to his place. Shawn and I get out taking our stuff since I'll be staying over at his place tonight. 

Once we reach his floor going to his apartment Shawn says to wait in the living room he'll be back with my surprise. I sit on his couch then he comes back with a guitar I look at him in surprise he says he's been learning how to play the guitar since he was studying music in university. I tell him that's great he smiles at me saying he wrote me a song about his love for me awe. He says it's called Never Be Alone he dedicates it to me he starts playing the guitar looking at me deeply. 

I promise one day that I'll be around

Shawn's finished singing looking at me deeply I have tears in my eyes I tell him how much I love the song he sounds amazing singing he says thank you hunny I'm glad you love the song. That song I wrote it because of my deep love for you because no matter wherever we are you'll never be alone you'll always have a piece of me with you. Awe I give him a kiss we both have tears in our eyes I lay in his arms we hold each other for a while he says how much he loves me beyond the sky and the moon. I tell him I do too then we lie down on the couch with our arms and legs entangled I decide to text my mom to let her know how the beach went. 

Michelle: Hey mom the beach with Shawn and our friends was great today :D

Mom: Hi honey that's great I'm glad to hear that I love you so much I can't wait for you to visit again soon xoxoxo. 

Michelle: Me too I miss you so much I love you xoxoxo. 

After that I cuddle with Shawn some more then we have dinner I make us sweet potatoes he always enjoys them. Once we're done we have tea then clean up around his place and get ready for bed. When we're laying down in bed Shawn says how he really is in love with me that he wants to be with me for life that song he dedicated to me. Awe I tell him I'm truly in love with him also that we've come so far in our relationship now together I can't wait to see what the future holds for us. He says he can't wait either then he puts his arm around me giving me a kiss saying goodnight hunny sweet dreams I tell him goodnight also smiling at him. 

I fall asleep to his heart beating such a calming sound he cares about me a lot and I care about him our love is so deep. 

Shawn and Michelle have been together for so long now their relationship is going well. The next chapter will be where they take it to the next level after being together for almost an year.
