Chapter 16: Amnesia

I opened the glass door and walked in. What I saw on the other side was entirely different. It looks like I have went back in time because the interior is old fashioned.

The glass door suddenly disappeared and it turned into a solid wall. I guess I have to explore this new place then. There is no turning back.

I am having déjà vu all over me. This place seems familiar, as if I have came to this place many times before.

I decided to walk around and find out if this place has any clues about my identity.

This place is so huge, but one thing for sure is that no one lives in here anymore due to the fact that it’s all dusty around here. I hope that I’m right.

The ambience of this place is creepy. The longer that I stay here, it feels like as if someone or something is watching me. Maybe I’m overreacting or I might be losing my sanity.

I began checking the rooms one by one. After a few moments, I suddenly heard a loud crashing noise in the other room.

I stopped for a moment and listened carefully. For sure, someone is there. Who would it be? I hope that it’s not evil. Everything that is happening to me now seems to hate me. I just want to have a break.

I decided to pick up a chair as a defense and I decided find out who is in the other room. I braced myself as I slowly opened the door.

What I saw terrified me. I saw a monster that I could not describe. I decided to back away but I accidentally stepped on broken glass. That wasn’t there before!

It’s too late, the monster heard the noise and it charged at me. I suddenly threw the chair at the monster and ran as fast as my feet could take me.

I kept on running and went into random rooms. I couldn’t outrun the monster. I have to outsmart it. I have to think fast.

I accidentally went into a room that is a dead end. A few more seconds and the monster will come barging in.

I decided to barricade using the tables and chairs. I couldn’t do anything else.

The monster is too strong as it breaks the door with its claws. Any moment now and I’ll be dead.

I suddenly heard a small voice. “Hey! Come over here, quickly!”

Should I trust the voice? I have no choice because the monster is going to get me. I followed the voice and went inside the closet.
