After leaving a note, I left the house slowly and without making any noise. I used the back door instead of the front from the fear to be seen by a zombie and get eaten. I tiptoed to the long wooden fence in front of my house and peeked a little, to my surprise the street was empty, only a few cars here and there and a not a single brain eaters in sight, well it's a good thing, maybe. I checked the street one more time and finally stepped out in the street, took another look, still nothing to be seen. I was relieved that I can go to Janet's without being eaten, but something felt really wrong bout this whole 'no zom on road' thing.I started walking, making sure to use the cars as my cover, I know there are no zoms in the street but being cautious won't hurt either. I kept looking back and forth because of this strange feeling of being, watched. It felt like there was something lurking in the darkness of the street that I can't see but it's there, waiting for me to make one wrong move.
Anyways, since zombies = jump scares, I kept my saviour, the legendary pan ready to bang on anything that appears outta the blue and jerk it's head off. Luckily nothing showed up on my way to the park, I reached there safe and sound. Now comes the real thing, to find those idiots amidst these thick bushes, ugh. I didn't received any text from them bout their arrival, so I'm not even sure if they reached here, also Im not sure if those crackheads turned their phones on mute or not, so if they are in a serious situation and in a hiding, and if I text them and they didn't turned their phones on mute, they be dead meat. Maaannnn life's hard.
I waited for them to text me first. But then I thought waiting here will be a waste of time, what if they r already here and they thinking of the same thing as I am? (bout whether I muted the phone or not). I tried to look around in bushes, carefully and making sure I don't run to a zom. After searching for a while I saw a guy like figure hiding in the bushes near a tree on the opposite side of entrance, he was wearing the same shoes that Phillip always wears. I was relieved that I finally found at least one of my friends, I was bout to touch his shoulder when I received a text from Phillip that read : "yow we're already here, hiding in the bushes near entrance. U still alive?"
I freaking froze in my place out of terror, fuck! Anyone can have the same pair of shoes like Phillip's, I was not sure of this person anymore, how do I even know its a person?! that's when I noticed that the figure I'm standing right behind of is eating a damn puppy! Ugh I felt sick to the core, the rotten smell of the flesh of that figure filled my nostrils, how did I not notice it before?! I tried not to puke, build up a little courage and slowly stepped backwards, very slowly, making sure the creature don't senses my presence. My eyes never left the sight of that zom, results? I accidentally stepped on branch. Great. It was the last thing I needed to happen.
That zom turned to look at me and I swear I never saw anything uglier than that creature right in front of my eyes. Fuck fear I froze in my place again, I was hoping it returns it's attention on eating the dead puppy again so I can take the fastest run I've ever had in life. My bad, it slowly stood up and without any warning sprang on me, I swung my pan but damn! I missed it and now I'm running everywhere in the park with a crazy zom tailing me. Just great.
My friends heard me running and the zom growling, Phillip and Rudy told the girls and me to get outta the park and they will deal with this creep.
I and the other two girls ran outta the park and Rudy hit the zombie with his baseball bat which followed with another hit by Phillip's crowbar, but dang this smelly creature was strong!
