Chapter 14

Chloe's Pov

I was waiting for Stella at the parking lot. Wondering what took her so long. Suddenly I saw Leah was also waiting for someone, maybe her friends? I thought it would be weird, if we just stood there quietly, acting like strangers. So I decided to break the silence.

"Hey" I addressed the girl I used to love. She looked at me with a annoyed expression on her face.

"Wow, talker aren't you? What the fuck do you want?"

"I am just waiting for Stella"

"Of course you are. Are you fucking her too?" I widen my eyes at the bluntness.

"What?"

"You heard me"

"Why are you asking this?"

"Well you already done that, while we were dating. Which is a fucking cheating. Have you ever heard of it?" Leah asked sarcastically yet angrily and step closer in front of me.

"Of course, you bring that up everytime you see me" I smiled at Leah, which got on her nerves.

"Of course, you fuck her everytime you see her"

"I am not fucking her" I exclaimed, she now started to pissing me off.

"I bet you enjoyed fucking her" Leah said and lightly pushed me.

"I didn't" I defended myself, while trying to control my temper.

"So you weren't moaning her name? Huh?" Leah spat in my face and pushed me again.

"No" I said through gritted teeth.

"You have never even fucking loved me! It was all just a huge fucking lie! You are a liar!" Leah yelled and pushed me once again, which was the last straw.

"I loved you with all my heart!" I shouted and clenched my fists, I would add something but I noticed that Stella is also there, standing next to the duo.

"Then why did you cheat on me?" Leah raised her voice once again and was fumming.

At this moment I could tell the truth and this time Leah might actually listened to me but I didn't want to, I didn't want them to fight with each other. I was facing Stella because I didn't want to look into Leah's eyes.

"I am not explaining you anything. Just let it be"

"You are pathetic!" Leah yelled and pushed me again.

"Leah" Stella warned Leah.

"Don't" I said to Stella, I didn't want her to be part of this, not right now.

"Admit it! Admit that you just wanted to hurt me!"

"I have never wanted to hurt you" I exclaimed and looked Leah straight into eyes.

"You always lie!" Leah slapped me for the first time today. I wasn't even surprised, I got used to it but Stella didn't.

"Leah, stop" Stella yelled at her.

"Shut up!" Leah growled at Stella.

"Stella, go, leave. Here are the keys to my apartment I will meet you there" I said while handed Stella my keys. Stella trusted me, so she left.

"And you, don't talk to her like that" I scolded Leah.

"Or what? You will cheat on me with her again?"

"We aren't together, so I can't cheat on you" I spat right into Leah's face.

"You know what I meant" Leah said and grabbed me by my collar. Our faces were basically touching, we could feel each other's breaths.

"Maybe I would" I slowly said, provokingly.

Leah smashed her lips on mines, she held me close by my collar. I was beyond surprised and pushed her away "What the fuck?"

"Leah I can't, I'm with Stella" Leah slapped me once again and left.

I went to my apartment right after that unexpected kiss from Leah, I noticed that Stella was sitting on couch, looking impatient and worried as never.

"Are you okay?" Stella asked immediately, when she saw me.

"I am fine, really" I sat next to her.

"Why didn't you tell her the truth?" She was confused but that's not surprising. I had the chance and she thought I would do it.

"I didn't wanted you two to get into a fight once again. I remember the last time, about a year ago, when you had a fight with Leah because you thought Leah was flirting with your girlfriend but then you realized that Leah never flirted with her. The girl was lying and tried to break your friendship and she successed. Because since then you guys haven't talked to each other" I said honestly.

"Yeah, that was an ugly fight"

"Yeah, hmm, you want me to forgive you right?" I asked and turned my gaze at her.

"Yes" Stella answered quickly.

"Great, then you will gladly keep my request, right?"

"Sure" By this time she was kinda scared, what would it be.

"You need to tell Leah yourself about what actually happened" She raised her eyebrows and looked at me.

"Look, I forgive you anyway but she needs to know the truth and she needs to hear it from you. I tried to explain it to her but she won't believe a word I would say"

"I was pretty rough with her, when the last time we fought and I don't think she'll take it as easily. She'll just get even worse"

"She would never hurt you, look you can do it tomorrow, next week, I don't care and if you think the situation is getting out of hand, just text me and I will be right beside you" I said and put my hand on her and gently squeezed it.

"Fine" She finally agreed.
