____________________________________MATHEMATICS' THREE
SADDEST LOVE STORIES
(Tragic Tangent)Tangent.
↪Mathematically, speaking, a tangent line may be defined as a line that touches a curve at a point without crossing over.

TANGENT
I was looking at the stars in the sky,
without blinking, hurting my eyes.
Guess, I wanted to be blind
because whenever I looked around,
you were nowhere to find.
Thought that it's much better to lose my sight,
than to see that memory flashed-
losing you by my side.It happened a long time ago.
Yet, the pain lingers,
witnessing how you go.
I've been always here, soaked in tears.
Thinking that you were not gone.
Wishing that I could turn back time.
But, I wouldn't change a thing.
I would revisit and savor the moment
that even the place reminded me of how you took your last breath,
this was also the same place where we first met.
You looked frail and weak
but you have strength
to make yourself believe
that sooner or later, you would just leave."Make the most out your life," you said.
"You'll never know when it is going to end."
I was happy that in your remaining hours,
spent with me laying in the grass,
pointing the stars.
"The time has come, my love.
I'm going to be a star in the sky above.
Look up and don't forget you're in my heart."
Those were the exact words that you say.
I knew it from the start that it would end this way.
That you were not meant to stay."Yes, my love, I'd always remember.
I'm lucky that we met each other.
At a point in time at least we were together.
Tragically, we parted forever."____________________________________
That's the end of the poems about the three saddest Mathematics love stories. I really like to relate academic lessons in real life, especially love.😂 The poems were originally written in 2016. Inspired by a post in Facebook.
Skl. I wrote a mini-series containing three stories with the same topic entitled "Lines of Love". I don't have a plan (for now) to post it here in Wattpad. Kung may balak man akong i-post 'yon, edit-edit para bawas sa kajejehan. If you read the poems, you have been spoiled about what the story's all about.
