Mother's Day

She is the one,
Who's always there.
She is the one who sits by you,
When you're scared.

She carried you for nine months.
And fought all odds just for you,
Without breaking a sweat.

The only time she smiled,
With all her heart,
Was when she first saw you,
And promised never to part.

The love of a mother,
Cannot be replaced.
And her memories are such,
That just cannot be erased.

Her substitute,
Is an impossible find.
Yet she is the best gift,
Ever been given to mankind.

As I struggle to describe her further,
I realise that words,
Aren't just good enough,
To describe the true love of a mother.

The next time you see her,
Give her a little more respect.
Because your love,
Is the only thing she expects.
