Heinkel
Another day..another fight. Honestly, i wish this war will come to an end, i don't care on which side, all it matter is that i can rest.
Hanz? Well...he's back now, the Sergeant told him that he's my commander now, my opinion? I'm happy! Hanz has been a good friend to me, always watching my back
(no, i don't mean it like that, i mean Watch your back like Watching for enemy. Not...nevermind then)
Oh yeah, the battle. We lost, the Stukas are shot down, except Thunderbird, he only sustain minimal damages, out of 20 Ju-87, only 3 returns (including Thunderbird)"Hey Heinkel" I heard a voice behind me, i rotated my turret and sees Thunderbird and a soldier "Hey there, who's that guy?" I asked him "oh him? He's apparently my new...pilot"
Awkward Silence
"I mean, he gave me coordinate! N-not goes into my..cockpit.." Thunderbird said, "Ah, i thought that he climbs in your..cockpit"
"Yeah, like that's possible with all the wires" He chuckled out
"Alright Thunderbird, you have fun with Heinkel. I need to go" The 'pilot' said"Anyway, what about you and Hanz?" Thunderbird asked
"Well, the Sergeant told him that he's now my commander, apparently, there's enough space in my turret that one person can fit in" I told him
"Really? That's cool."
"Are you serious? That's cool?" I said in a mocking tone
"Okay, that's awesome" Thunderbird admittedWe just turned off our engines and watch the, sunset. Moments later, Thunderbird shuts off all of his system, an alternative way of...sleeping, what about me you ask? Well... I turned off my engine, my turret and, if able, loosen my tracks but most of the time, only my engine is shut off.
April 23, 1945.
"Hanz! Throw that grenade!" A private yelled, he immediately throws one frag at the enemy tanks but it only scratched them. How about me? I'm fighting a M4A2, which is...quite powerful, if i got some parts damaged, i will need to be repaired AT the base, so i can't risk being shot. Over the last months...i've been damaged frequently, battle of Rhine, almost got killed by landmine...and other things i can't remember BANG! Scheisse! That was close, he shot up a Tiger behind me. I analyzed it's weakspot and found out that the side is weak.
I shot his track, now that he's unable to move, got to his side, and shoot. Boom, right in the ammo rack, "Hilfe! Ich bin erschossen!" (Help! I'm shot!") Oh no, don't tell me that's Hanz!
"Hanz! You okay?!" I radioed him, but no response "Ha-"
"PZ.IV AI1! YOU NEED TO RETREAT!" The corporal yelled "B-but Hanz.." "RETREAT GODDAMMIT! DO YOU WANT TO BE DESTROYED?!" At that point, I'm about to breakdown
(basically, Heinkel way of crying is to shut off his engine, and the engine makes the...you know, when you tried to start your car over and over again)"Y-yes sir" I turned around and speeded away from the battlefield, when i say speeded up i mean..35 Kph (21 mph) which is...slow, one of them manages to shot my back, but luckily, my armor repels it
At base
I returned, and guess what? Less man at my division, from what used to be 1,300 men, is now 200 mens, i don't even know what I'm here for! The entire Germany is loss, "Heinkel?" A voice called me, i looked behind, hopeful that it's Hanz, but it's only Thunder bird
"Hey TB..." I responded using his nickname
"What happened? You seemed..sad"
"H-Hanz, he..." That's it, my first breakdown
"Woah woah, I'm sorry, i wish i could help"
"Y-you can't! Even the HE-111 is with us! But they got shot down by..by those P-51's and Spitfires!"
Thunder bird stayed silent while i continued breaking downEvening, No one P.O.V
It's been 1 hours after Heinkel breakdown, Thunder bird still tried to comfort him but it's not working, eventually Heinkel shuts off all of his system due to overworking it, meanwhile Thunder bird is not tired, rather saddened because Heinkel lost his best friend "Heinkel, Thunder bird. Go to my tent" The sergeant said through the radio "s-sir, Heinkel shuts off all of his system, i don't know if i can wake him up"
"Just wake him up God dammit!" The sergeant yelled. fortunately Thunder Bird doesn't have to wake Heinkel up as he is startled by the loud voice"Heinkel, let's go, the sergeant called us" Thunder bird said, Heinkel only nodded his turret and drives to the base, towing Thunder bird as he can't move by himself
