A year and 8 months had passed. Belén had celebrated her 15th Birthday a few days earlier. She was out in the wilds of Andalucia in the shrub-covered mountains near Jaen. Up in the mountains, the temperature was almost bearable but in the graveyard down in the city the summer heat was intense. Belén had spent significant periods of time hunting during the time she was with her new master. He was planning on making her into a half-vampire shortly after her 15th Birthday. So she felt it would come soon. He had taught her very little about vampires except for their strengths and weaknesses. She knew that vampires didn't have to kill the people they fed on and she was confident that her master followed those rules too.

She had become quite strong and had grown slightly over the time she had spent with Crayn. She managed to catch a lynx that session so she swings it over her shoulder and began trekking back down the mountains. She then cooked it on an open fire just outside of the city and then brought it into the crypt.

That evening like every evening Crayn came out of the coffin ate some meat. Ate some vegetables that Belén had harvested and then set off traveling again. That night they headed Eastwards. Crayn told stories about adventures he'd had with the other vampires. He made their life seem so incredible. They had so much freedom and were so strong yet they didn't mess with humans. That fascinated Belén. She desperately wanted to become a vampire at that point. She had wanted it for the previous whole year and finally, the promised time was approaching.

They arrived in a village called abanchez de magina. It was fairly empty but it had a graveyard in it and at the end of the day that was all that mattered to Crayn. They were still near mountains allowing for easier hunting where the land wasn't all cropland and empty fields.

This continued for a few more days heading west. Crayn had promised Belén that he'd blood get into a half-vampire as soon as they reached their mysterious destination. They crossed over canyons and mountains for an entire week until they finally reached Almeria.

When there she was blooded.

However, once the process was done and the changes started to show Crayn changed. He started demanding Belén to take things from the city for him. At first, she did it without questioning but this continued and when she told him she wasn't going to continue he picked her up and threw her against a wall. The wall crumbled and Belén was badly injured. He threatened to kill her the next time she disobeyed. He then started to ask more and more from her. Until one night he told her to kill a man. He wanted the man dead so that Crayn could eat him. That wasn't even something vampires had to do. He just wanted to eat a full man. He took advantage of Belén's newfound strength and also took advantage of her still intact human skin. She could last just as well in the sun as she could as a full human unlike him.

He had been preparing her for this. Training her to kill strengthening her improving her sneaking skills all so that when she becomes a half-vampire he could use ger to do his bidding risk-free and during the day.

This continued for a whole year. Belén had killed 4 people and stolen thousands of reals worth of objects. It was at this point she decided he had done her enough harm and she had helped him enough. She had waited until July to let him experience the strongest sun. She dragged his coffin out at midday far away from the cemetery and the city. That was it would take him at least an hour to find shelter. Luckily for her Almeria was surrounded by desert so no trees would provide shade for him. She then opened the coffin at midday and ran away as fast as she could.

After about 10 minutes she spotted Crayn sprinting. Somehow he knew the direction of Almeria without being able to see it at all behind the mountains. He ran significantly faster than she had expected. He ran 10 times faster than the average man sprinting. And he arrived at the city after only 10 minutes.

I wasn't sure what had happened to him so I returned back to the city. I found him lying on the ground. Muscles visible through holes in his skin. His muscles also seemed damaged. He was still breathing but couldn't move his legs anymore. So I put him out of his misery by clobbering his head time and time again. It took a lot of hits to kill him but it happened eventually.

That vampire had made Belén kill 5 people and a vampire. She believed that he had turned her into a monster unworthy of going to heaven. She felt she needed to be judged. The vampires would decide my fate, she thought to herself. But she didn't know where to find them.

She walked a long road to Granada. It was a challenging walk with the blistering heat and intense sun. She walked for 7 days like this over huge mountain ranges and sleeping wherever possible not even bothering with crypts. She would have died of dehydration had she not become a half-vampire. She only needed to drink blood every 3 or 4 days and she'd never get thirsty. Once there she holed up in a vast cemetery. The cemetery smelts as if something had cooked there only a few days prior.

She believed it was the best place to go. As it was the place where she believed was most likely to have frequent vampire visitors in the vicinity.
