Amanda

We were officially college graduates, Jack and I.

Our graduation was early this morning, and Harry brought Josie and the two of them sat right in the front.

After the ceremony, Jack had to rush to the airport since he was leaving for a trip with some of his friends from dental hygiene school for the weekend, so we'd have to celebrate when he got back.

Being in London last weekend and Josie getting to meet her grandma was the perfect early graduation present, and I could definitely see ourselves going back to visit.

Harry went to go meet up with Julia, I think. I was surprised at how much the two seemed to really like each other.

So, that left Josie and I by ourselves for the weekend.

"What do you want for dinner tonight, Jose?" I asked, looking in the rearview mirror at her.

She was looking down at her lap, almost as if she was about to drift of to sleep.

"You okay, sweetie?" I asked her, and her head bobbed.

"Mhm."

"Do you want pizza for dinner?" I questioned, and she nodded. That was her favorite meal to eat.

She's probably tired from being up all day.

By the time I picked up the pizza and we got back home, Josie was asleep in her car seat.

"Let's go, sweetie." I whispered, picking her up and carrying her into the apartment, where I rested her down on the bed in her room.

"Mommy." She moaned, waking up. "I don't feel good..." she said rolling over.

"What's wrong, baby?" I asked her, and she rolled over again. This time answering my question by throwing up.

Oh shit.

I picked her up and rushed into the bathroom, where she continued to throw up.

"Mommy, I don't feel good." She repeated again when she was done, sitting back up against the tub.

"What hurts, baby?" I asked, starting to panic. I reached up to feel her forehead and noticed that she was burning up, her face looking extremely pale.

"My tummy hurts."

I absolutely hated when Josie got sick, I always felt helpless and emotional each time.

"Okay, sweetie. Just hang tight everything's going to be okay." I told her, sitting her up as I grabbed my phone to call Harry.

Harry

"I hate chocolate strawberries," Julia admitted, and I laughed.

"How can you hate chocolate strawberries?" I breathed, pulling her to me and she shrugged.

"Something about the texture, I don't know." She answered.

"Well, you're a hard woman to please." I teased, giving her a kiss on the cheek as she laughed. A kiss on the cheek then turned into a kiss on the lips.

Her lips trailing down my neck, as she climbed onto my lap.

My phone started ringing loudly, rudely interrupting us and Julia groaned.

I picked it up and answered, immediately being met by Amanda crying on the other end.

"Harry." She choked out, and I sat up.
