I was with Claire in the convenient store that was just infront of our School. We were buying snacks and for our review later for the exams.
" Not yet, wala siya sa library kahapon"
I said
Tumingin siya sa akin
" Ahh right, her son was hospitalized" she replied
" You know! Bat di moko sinabihan? " I said
Naglalakad na kami papunta sa pinto ng convenient store
" besides why are you so worried about the 5 items test. It wont affect your grade that much " She said and opened the door
Nakalabas na kami sa convenient store and we continued walking
" What! 5 items? I thought 30" I said
" Hindi kasi niya natapos yung test niya kasi na hospital bigla anak niya, Didn't I told you? " She said and looked at me
Tiningnan ko siya ng masama
" If you told me do you think I would be this worried, I coudnt sleep well yesterday just because of this test! " I said
" Hindi ka naman nag tanong ah" She said
Kumukulo nanaman dugo ko sa babaeng ito.
Nakapasok na kami sa School, since wala ng namang ibang papasok na teacher dahil malapit na ang exams. We decided to go to the library to review but we stopped by at our room to get something.
When we arrived at the library there was many students there studying, we saw a table that was not occupied and sat there.
Binuksan ko ang aking bag at inilabas ko ang mga notebooks ko. Claire was sitting infront facing me.
" Jess, do you have an extra pen? Pahiram please!? " She begged
Tiningnan ko siya ng masama, kinuha ko ang pen sa gilid ko.
"Oh! suli mo yan ha palagi mo nalang winawala ang mga pens ko." Sabay bigay ko sa kanya
" Thanks!" She said and smiled
Binuksa ko ang libro at notebooks ko at nagumpisa na ako nag sulat ng mga importanteng detalye tungkol sa topic, it helps me remember things if I wrote it down.
" Jess" Claire said again
" What now?" I said sabay tingin sa kanya
" Wasn't I right? " She said
" About what?" I replied and I continued what I was writing.
" That he's handsome and hot! " She said
" Did you forgot I was absent yesterday? And he was also absent in the afternoon." I replied sabay ulit tingin sa kanya
" He was in our room kanina when we stopped by" She said
" Really " I said with a normal voice and turn the next page of the book
" C'mon Jessicaaa Rae Suarez, how come you didn't saw him! " She said disappointingly
" Uhmm... Maybe its just because I dont really care?" I said
She just rolled her eyes at me
