Astrid was sleeping peacefully in her room until she felt someone shake her.

Astrid lets out a groan and opens her eyes. "What do you want, Hope?"

"Come on, get up we need to go," Hope says pulling the older girl up. Astrid squirms in protest.

"Nooo, let me sleep." She whines. Hope raises her brow at her brown-haired friend.

"And you said you were the older one." The tribrid mutters. Astrid shoots the younger girl a glare.

"I still don't get why I have to go on these missions with you guys." She grumbles, finally getting out of bed.

"Don't you want to go on this adventurous mission?" Hope says playfully. The older girl lets out a small chuckle as she looks for an outfit.

"Adventurous mission my ass," Astrid mutters as she stepping into her bathroom. A few minutes later she comes out fully clothed. "Let's go before Ric gets mad."

Both girls walk quietly through the hallways, not wanting other students to wake up. They finally get to the front of the school, where their headmaster was waiting for them.

"What took you girls so long?" Dr. Saltzman asks the girls as they hopped in the SUV.

"Well someone didn't want to get up," Hope says giving the girl in the back a look.

"Well that someone loves her sleep." Astrid defends herself.

"Enough with the bickering." The headmaster interrupts their playful banter.

Astrid, being the childish girl she is, decides to smack Hope in the back of the head. She lets out a squeal when Hope turns around and tries to hit her back.

"Can you girls not fight with each other every second you guys get?" Dr. Saltzman asks the two friends. Both girls look at each other for a second.

"Nope." They both say before bursting out laughing. Dr. Saltzman shakes his head. Surprisingly the ride was pretty quiet besides the girls bickering every once in a while.

Finally, the SUV comes to a stop. They get out of the car in a hurry. The trio starts to head in the church's entrance when a boy caught Astrid's and Hope's attention.

"Landon..." Hope says as she looks at her old friend.

"Hope? Astrid?" He says recognizing both girls.

"Uh, hey Landon," Astrid says.

"You three know each other?" Dr. Saltzman interrupts their moment.

"Long story." Hope dismisses. Then, the sound of glass breaking and loud screaming was heard from the church.

"Dr. Saltzman..."

"Yeah, I'm on it." Dr. Saltzman tried to open the door but soon realizing it was chained shut. "Doors are locked."

"I got you." Astrid grabs the handle of the doors, using her strength to open the doors. The sound of chains snapping was heard as she yanked open the door. "Let's go."

"You're gonna want to stay out here, Landon. Trust me." Hope says to Landon. The trio quickly rushed into the church not knowing a certain human was following them.

"Maledicte diabolo! Et impius discedite!" The priest chants. Astrid rolled her eyes at him.

"Shut down the exorcist, would you?" Hope raises her right hand and shouts an incantation as she squeezes her hand into a fist.

"Silencio!" A patch of skin appears that covers Father Pietro's mouth and prevents him from speaking. He reaches up and grabs his throat as though he's choking until Hope casts her next spell. She once again raises both hands flat in the air, but this time she thrusts them downward. "Ad somnum!"

Father Pietro, Hector, and Maria all suddenly fall asleep and fall onto the floor. Astrid looks at Hope in amazement. Rafael, who is on his hands and knees with his face against the wooden floor, looks at the three desperately.

"Please... help me... What's happening...?" The boy says as more of his bone crack.

"My god..." Astrid turns at the sound. She spots Landon staring at his foster brother in disbelief.

"Damn it." She muttered to herself. Knowing Landon already saw what he shouldn't of, Astrid turns her attention off her old friend to the shifting werewolf.

The trio quickly drilled the carabiners into the floor of the sacristy, attaching chains to all four of the hooks in a square. Using her speed, Astrid quickly put the chains on the werewolf.

"Easy does it, easy does it..." she mutters tightening the collar. By now Rafael had already fully shifted. Both girls look at the newly turned werewolf with sympathy knowing how painful the shift was.

They were back in the SUV after Rafael shifted back. The headmaster and Hope were sitting in the front while the other three were in the back.

After a few minutes of silence, Dr. Saltzman decided to break it. "How do you three know each other?"

"He used to serve us milkshakes at the Mystic Grill," Hope says.

"Peanut Butter Blast, Whipped cream on the bottom and a chocolate chip cookie dough shake, no whipped cream," Landon says. Astrid gives the boy a smile.

"What kinda loser orders whipped cream on the bottom?" She asks teasingly. Hope slightly turns to the older girl and gives her a playful glare.

"We danced once," Landon says. Hope lets out a small smile at the memory.

"We tried. And then you moved away." Hope says.

"Then Astrid yanked open the doors, snapping the metal chains with inhuman strength. You feel like explaining that?" Landon snaps. Both girls stay quiet.

"Oh, we'll explain everything. We're almost there." The headmaster reassures.

Landon gave a confused look. "Where are we going?"

"Somewhere safe."
