After a while of looking around I found a two floored apartment for sale about ten minutes from the GCPD which Jim is staying for a while as Barbara's left town even after I offered for him to stay with me but he kindly declined.

I was in the mood for food which was strange for me but still I had an excuse see Jim. I walked into the GCPD to find lee and Jim kissing which soon after they invited me to a circus which I've never really liked but I was bored out of my mind so I agreed so I could get to know lee more.

We paid for our ticket and went to sit in the middle of the crowd before the show started I went to get some popcorn for us all. I wondered around to find the stand to stumble upon a young lad with red hair who was thinking about something and not even noticing my presents. "Hey do you know where I can get some popcorn?" I asked as he nervously nodded "er yeah it's j-just around the corner" he stuttered and pointed to the stand "thank you" I smiled and walked away "that was close hahaha" I heard him laugh which made me question what he was doing there but I was craving popcorn so I dropped it got the popcorn and went back to Jim and his new girlfriend.

As the show was about end a clown car came into view and it started a fight which made goodie two shoes Jim want to get to the bottom of it. I sat on a bench as Jim and lee questioned the people and found out it was a family feud that's been going on for many years which reminded me of home and made a tear threaten leave my eye but I wiped it away with my finger and focused on moving on.

We then went to question a snake dancer as we knocked on the door the same boy with fire like hair came into view "GCPD we need to speak with Lila" Jim stated "she's not here why? What's happened?" He asked putting on a coat "where is she?" Jim said ignoring his question "er I don't know she was supposed to be home she's ago" he said while I heard his heart picking up speed, was he nervous? "Are you a relative?" Jim asked "I'm her son Jerome" he said looking at me Jim continued to ask him questions while my attention focused on the snake "look at Sheba, she's distraught she knows somethings wrong" he said still looking at me "Sheba? She looks more like a Bella" I said getting closer and reaching my hand through the bars which surprised Jerome that I wasn't scared of her. They then got her out for some reason, I don't know I wasn't listening (see what I did there lol) we then followed the snake to the truck nearby where I first saw Jerome to reveal a woman covered in blood and Jerome broke down on the floor from the sight but for some reason I thought he could be faking it, it just didn't seem real no tears or anything.

We made it back to the GCPD after arresting all the circus actors and went to question Jerome who told us how he loved her which I found hard to believe he then told us about how she had many sex partners and I could feel the anger coming off him. Jim left to talk to one of the family's leaving me and Jerome alone "soo you killed your mother" I said like it was the most normal thing to do "w-what why would you s-say that I loved my mother" he said through his glazed eyes filled with tears I must say he's a good actor "I can tell by the look on your face it's the same as mine when I helped my brother kill our father, though I'm sure they were different situations" as the words left my mouth he burst out in a fit of giggles which made me roll my eyes "you killed a parent too?" He beamed "ah so you did kill your mother?" I asked "of course I did she was a whore and fair enough you can be a whore if you want to but not a nagging whore as well!" He yelled and a breathe I didn't know I was holding in cane out. "Well then I really must be going see you later Jerome" as I was about walk away his hand connected with mine "you can't tell anyone about me killing my mother or else I'll take you down with me" he glared which made me scoff "please Jim will figure it out and you can tell anyone you like, no one will believe you buttt just because I don't want you going around telling my secrets, you won't remember anything about me until I say so especially not this conversation" I said looking into his eyes pulled my hand out his grasp and walked out of the room.

The next day I was informed that Jerome was taken to Arkham for the murder of his mother Jim didn't mention anything else so I guess my compulsion on Jerome worked like I knew it would, even though Jim knows that I helped kill my mother I didn't want Jerome telling anyone else about it.

I ended the call with Jim and walked down to fish mooneys club, even though we only talked once I found myself missing her and wanting see her.
